Decorah Valley Home with a View (Apartment 1)

Welcome to the Oneota Vista, a private apartment on the second floor of our house with beautiful views of the Oneota valley. Our home is located on the Trout Run bike trail (an 11-mile paved loop which winds through Decorah). It is a mile walk to downtown Decorah, and less than 2 miles from Luther College.

This cozy apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring, canoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, shopping, and checking out the local breweries. The unit consists of 2 bedrooms, a private bathroom, a full kitchen, and open living/dining space with beautiful hardwood floors. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds with an additional trundle for a 3rd person. Also, the futon couch in the living area can be used as a bed if needed.

Basic wifi, a TV with Netflix, as well as a variety of DVDs, family games, and puzzles are available for use during your stay. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and Keurig available. A washer and dryer is located in the hallway closet.

Parking is available. We have a cement pad near the house which accommodates one parking spot for both of our apartments (Apartment #1 and #2). There is also parking around the pad on the grass for other vehicles. Please do not block the western (right) garage door.
