DayStar Lodge is just a little more luxurious than some vacation rentals with it's 5 bedrooms, 2 with 42 inch flat screen TV's, and 3 bathrooms. The living room and family rooms both have 48 and 65 inch TV's to enjoy your cable channels or movie on, wifi is included here as well. DayStar Lodge is located on the upper Twin Lake and except during the Peak Season and during the Iron Man time frame you may choose to rent either the entire house or just the upstairs. Your family will enjoy the included row boat, canoe, and paddle boat to get out on the lakes with.

The hot tub is open for winter use, enjoy the view of the stars and lake from this cozy spot. A great way to warm up after a day of skiing or ice fishing!

DayStar Lodge has 3,000 square feet of inviting living space if the upstairs and downstairs are both rented. The atmosphere is one of relaxation and warmth in which you and your family can come back to after a day on the lake, or after enjoying the many area attractions such as the Silverwood Amusement Park, Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, or our local par 72 Golf Course.

Except during the Peak Season you may choose to rent either the entire house or just the upstairs. The maximum number of guests we can accommodate is 10.

*Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, and living rooms.

*Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom, and family room. The downstairs is NOT accessible from the inside of the house, you must use an outside entrance that faces the lake.

The upper lake is approximately 1 ½ miles long and ¾ mile wide, and the lower lake is approximately 2 ½ miles long and ½ mile wide. The lakes are ideal for boating, skiing, tubing, and all water sports. During the winter many people enjoy the frozen lakes for ice fishing.

The lake is a peaceful setting with abundant wildlife such as ducks, mink, chipmunks, blue jays, muskrat, osprey, eagles, and heron. Bring your motor boat or kayak and enjoy the water off our private dock and beach. We provide a rowboat, canoe, and paddle boat for your use at no extra charge. If desired you may rent our 4 horsepower motor for the rowboat.

Enjoy more space than a hotel can offer to relax in when you come to the area for IronMan, Bloomsday, Hoopfest, and the many attractions at the Opera House and Convention Centers in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene.

FREE to our guests, DayStar Lodge has a canoe, rowboat, and paddle boat for our guests enjoyment of the water.

Available for rent- 4 horse-power boat motor

Holiday’s: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's $550.00 per night or $3,000.00 for the entire house per week or $2,500 for the upper level only per week, minimum of 3 nights.

Upper Level only rates are shown on the rates table please email for rates for the entire house rental.

We only rent out the entire house during July and August. All other times of the year you can book the upper level only if needed.

2-night minimum all year around, a 3-night minimum for Holiday weekends and 4-night minimum during the second half of June, 7-night minimum during Peak Season.

$350 cleaning fee for whole house or $225 when booking top floor only

8% Idaho tax

$500 security/damage deposit

Extra Fees if applicable:

Boat Motor: $200 (per weekend or week)

$35 per night fee for dogs - max $175 charge per week per dog

2 dogs maximum - IF left alone must be crated

(Because of allergies only small non-shedding breeds allowed.)
