Dar Maureen is a beautifully restored traditional riad in the heart of the Marrakech medina, a 15-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square. It is rented one way only: the whole house, exclusively yours.

Dar Maureen is never let room by room, so you never share it with other guests. Whether your group is 2, 4 or 6, the entire riad, its three en-suite bedrooms, the open-air pool, the patio, the living rooms and the rooftop terrace, is privatised for you alone, from check-in to check-out.

The soul of the house is its patio and private open-air pool. Open to the sky, you swim under the sun by day and the stars by night, 24/7, with the pool entirely to yourselves. A removable roof shelters it in the coldest winter weeks; the rest of the year it is fully open-air.

Your host Khadija is there each morning to prepare a generous home-cooked Moroccan breakfast, included in the price. On request, she also cooks on site: traditional tajines and Moroccan dishes served in the riad, so you can dine at home whenever you like. Three individually designed bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and private bathroom, offer calm and comfort. Up on the rooftop, a panoramic terrace is the perfect spot for sunbathing, mint tea and evening drinks over the medina.
