Creek Cabin in the Woods - Duvall

The Cabin in the Woods Is a perfect location for those who wish to get away from the regular hustle and bustle of life, go inward and do some deep inner personal growth.

X currently no shower (however you can dip in the creek down the hill, or the lake, or with special arrangement may use the shower in the main house)

X can not drive

It has most everything you would need. It has a small fridge, a double burner hot eye, tiny oven toaster, microwave, water boiling pot, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, a bucket toilet (put in sawdust after you go), hot and cold running water, a twin murphy bed, a loft with a single mattress, and a porch with a lovely view of the creek down a ravine. There is plenty of space to roll out a floor pad and sleeping bags for guests. There is also room for outdoor camping, and the kitchen is set for serving six guests. The water is pure and tested with a high ph of 8.5 from a well right outside the cabin. What it does not have is a shower. It is also not accessible by vehicle. It is a short walk down a hill from the parking area, we can easily arrange to bring bags and supplies down the hill with our ATV Gator.

2 miles from a hiking trail, Cherry Creek Falls

Next to a creek full of wildlife

What you will get:

Full Murphy Bed, Single Bed in the Loft

Hot and Cold Water - from the well in front of the cabin. High PH mineral rich water, tested for impurities, sweet tasting

The cabin overlooks a deep ravine to a year round flowing creek

Breakfast:

1) Fruit, Yogurt, Granola, Milk

2) Potatoes and Onions, Sausage, Eggs

Lunch:

1) Sandwiches, Chips, Salad or (canned) Soup

2) Nachos: Beans (Whole or Refried) or Ground Beef base

3) Mac N Cheese: Annie's Mac N Cheese shells with sausage, tomato, broccoli topped with Parmesan

Dinner:

1) Pasta / Spaghetti with Ground Beef Meatballs and bread and salad

2) Premade Pizza with salad

3) Vegetable Soup and Bread

4) Coconut Curry Chicken and Vegetables

Dessert:

1) Alden's Vanilla Ice Cream with Cut Chocolate, Coconut Rolls, Chopped Nuts or Peanut Butter

2) Fruit with cinnamon and honey

3) Pie - type varies

Add on:

** Massage or Energy Healing Session 1 ½ hour sessions

Things to do nearby:

* Walk down the steep hill from the cabin to the creek on trail with rope handle

* Meditate in the forest

* Hike Cherry Creek Trail, just 2 miles down the road, a 2.2 mile trail to a waterfall

* Walk up the road, take a right, and walk around Lake Margaret

* Access Public Park at Lake Margaret. When you get to the T to the lake, take a right, veer left around the turn, the entrance is on your left, when you see the lake.

* We can arrange driving you to the lake with our ATV with the Canoe to have some time on the water.
