1 bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment centrally located in "Hell's Kitchen" aka "Midtown West", one of New York City's most popular neighborhoods to live in, very safe at all hours. Double bed and 2 windows with view facing uptown. Near subways, restaurants, Broadway theaters, delis.

Please know this apartment is a 5th floor WALKUP --- NO ELEVATOR. If you have a lot of bags I do not suggest this apartment unless you can easily bring them up the 5 flights of stairs (80 stairs).

Centrally located, 8 minute walk (2 avenues) to Times Square, Theatre District, many Subway lines (A, C, E, N, R, Q, W, 1, 2, 3, 7), taxis available outside the front door of apartment. The apartment is between 9th and 10th avenues. The avenues are lined with restaurants, bars, delis, grocery stores, laundry.

The apartment building has NO ELEVATOR and a 5th floor walkup (about 80 stairs) With your inquiry please indicate if you have a lot of luggage as the apartment is not well suited for guests with a lot of luggage.

Host lives in a bedroom upstairs (6th floor). The other bedroom may have another AirBnb guest(s) (single or couple). Kitchen, Living area and main bathroom are shared. The host has a half bath upstairs, so seldom occupies main bathroom. All bedrooms are spread out at opposite ends of the apartment, though please note this apartment is close to the living area and kitchen.

This bedroom, while it has more natural light (2 windows) and a better view, it is not as quiet as the other bedroom (also on Airbnb), because it faces the street you can hear some noise (sirens, honking, etc on occasion -- not ideal for light sleepers). Room has full size bed and no closet inside room. There is a closet that you may use outside of the bedroom next to the bathroom to hang clothing. Room has a lock on door which you'll have a key. In Fall / Winter, this room is cooler temperature than the other bedroom.

Private residence, so important to be quiet and discreet in the hallways, and when entering the apartment. Please do NOT SLAM the apartment door. And this is a smoke free apartment, NO SMOKING in the bedroom or anywhere in the apartment.
