Perfect for families or groups of up to six, this beautifully designed property offers a peaceful yet easily accessible retreat. With its welcoming interiors and thoughtful amenities, it’s an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area or simply unwinding in comfort.

The first-floor living area boasts an open-plan layout with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and a cosy lounge that takes full advantage of the scenic countryside views. The cottage features three spacious double bedrooms, including one with a private en-suite bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms share a contemporary family bathroom with a shower overhead, ensuring a comfortable stay for all.

The property also includes access to the estate’s shared heated swimming pool, open from mid April until after October Half Term.

Situated near a main road and just a short walk from the market town of Cowbridge, Quail Cottage provides a wonderful balance of countryside charm and modern convenience. Local shops, restaurants, a fabulous Farm shop a few minutes walk away and attractions are all within easy reach, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed yet connected getaway.

Access to Quail Cottage is via the estate’s gated main driveway. Parking is available just outside the property, with spaces shared with the main house. Guests will enjoy their own private patio, perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing, as well as access to the extensive gardens that surround the estate.

The estate also features a shared heated swimming pool, available daily from 9 am to 7 pm, starting mid-April and continuing through to the end of October Half Term. While the pool is a wonderful amenity, it is not fenced, and children must be supervised at all times within the grounds. Unsupervised children are not permitted at the pool for safety reasons.

The X2 bus route operates between Cardiff and Cowbridge, with services departing from Cardiff Bus Interchange Bay 2 and arriving at Cowbridge Town Hall. The journey takes approximately 43 minutes and runs three times a day. Additionally, the 321 bus route connects Llantwit Major and Pontyclun to Cowbridge, providing access to local train stations.
