Relax at this peaceful home close to the City of Melbourne.

Close to several amenities: buses, train station, hospital, shopping centres, libraries and restaurants, 10-20 min walk. Beaches 30 mins away. 30 mins from CBD (City) or 35 mins to Geelong. Express trains.

Also nearby tourist attractions - Wyndham Harbour, Werribee Mansion and Werribee Open Range Zoo accessible by bus also.

The shared areas:
* Guest Bathroom, lockable and is separate, next to the guest rooms. Mostly for guest use but sometimes shared with host and other visitors. Has a shower seat.
* Full kitchen with cooking amenities such as pots, pans, rice cooker, kettle, toaster, bakeware etc to cook your own meals.
* TV and large Movie Theatre Screen in Living Room 1.
* 2nd quieter Lounge/Living Room to relax in.
* Laundry with washing machine and dryer.
* Clothesline.
* Outdoor garden area.
* Guest Pantry (near Guest Bathroom).
Lower shelf has cereals and shared cooking items, and condiments - oil, salt, pepper, baking paper, apron, extra tea towels etc.

Other things to note
You will be sharing the home mainly with the host (retired, elderly gentleman) and his grandson (in his 20s), and usually 1 or 2 other AirBnB guests. There is also a family cat who comes in mostly in the evenings.

Guest rooms are at the back of the house (quieter) and separated from host rooms at the front by the living areas.

In our reviews many guests have complimented us on our affordability, home like environment and host friendliness.
We don’t charge separate guest services fees, all inclusive in our prices as listed which is already around a 12% discount before any other promotional discount is added.

Additional Guests, service animals.
If you need to bring a disability service animal or an additional guest along with yourself is also planning to book in, please let us know when booking.
Max 2 people per room.
At the booking, also let us know if you prefer single beds as the large beds in the main guest rooms can be adjusted to 2 singles. (Avail now in Room 2, and Room 1 from mid July).
The living room with 2 couches and a sofa bed is for short term use by backpackers or additional people/travellers but they won’t have the privacy of a separate room, so is for sleeping overnight only, and needs to be tidied up for other guest use during the day. If you need this area for extra short term people coming with you, we need to know the numbers ahead to adjust the booking as total guests must be invoiced.
Please note: House not really suitable for guest animals or small children as an open carport is on one side when the door is opened.

Info will be provided when you make a booking. We have generous discounts for longer term weekly and extended monthly stays, if extended before checkout day.

Recent updates:
In this room the bed size and frame has changed from a double to a Queen mid 2026, and the pictures will be gradually updated to reflect this change when the linen is changed. New, comfortable mattress.
Wi-Fi now 500 mbps high speed, suitable for remote workers.

Queen/single beds required:
By default if only a single guest books in, or a couple, the bed will be a Queen bed. If you are booking in as friends, family etc and need it altered to 2 single beds in the shared room, let us know at the booking so we can have it setup for you before check-in. Room cost will be even more affordable if two people share the cost evenly.
