Welcome to the Closer to the Sun Lake house. Enjoy a relaxing getaway in this 3000+ sq ft lake front home in Moses Lake, WA. The house has a private dock with room for 2-3 boats (May-October only due to lake level) and its very own boat launch, bring your boat or watercraft and dock it in the back yard! Enjoy both of the huge covered decks with breathtaking sunset views and plenty of room to spread out or gather together.
The house comfortably sleeps 8-10 adults & up to 4 children. The home includes all the amenities you will need including bedding, towels, beach towels, all the kitchen essentials, kitchenette w/2nd refrigerator, washer/dryer, Roku TVs, Wi-Fi, arcade games, board games, off-street parking for up to 4-5 cars and various outdoor items for you to use during your stay. The backyard is mostly fenced but pets could escape in some areas, use caution when your children & pets are outdoors.
The house is located in downtown Moses Lake close to many great restaurants, cute little shops and several grocery stores. Bring your ATVs and play at the Sand Dunes that are just 7 miles away. In the summer, enjoy the Surf n Slide water park only 2 miles away. There’s a Tesla Supercharging station less than 2 miles from the house.

LAKE LEVEL - The lake level is lowered the first week of November and starts to fill back up first week of April. Boats can only be docked at the home May-October. Please be aware the Lake is really shallow in places near the home so use extreme caution when boating and swimming. Boat launch is steep use extra caution when using it.
**HOUSE RULES** By booking, you are contractually agreeing to honor all house rule and confirm that you agree to follow them in the detailed rental agreement that will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed. Within 72 hours of arrival, you MUST confirm that you have read, accept and agree to follow the house rules in the rental agreement, check-in instructions will NOT be provided until this is received.

SMOKING - There is NO smoking of any kind inside the house and drugs are not permitted on the property.
NO PARTIES - The house sleeps 12 (8-10 Adults + up to 4 kids), Having additional unregistered guests without explicit permission qualifies as having a party.
CLEANING - Guests are required to leave the property in the same general condition as it was when they arrived. Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (someone who cleans up after themselves and takes care of our things).
SECURITY CAMERAS - Guests understand and accept that the property is protected with outside security cameras that view the front door, carport, driveway, boat launch, boat house and side gate areas. There are no cameras indoors or directly facing the back yard or deck areas. Tampering with cameras is cause for immediate eviction without a refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY - We do have a strict cancellation policy. Please make sure you’re aware of this prior to booking as we may not be able to accommodate refunds for cancellations. We recommend travel insurance if you anticipate factors that may impact your stay.
PLEASE NOTE: Guests will NOT have access to the garage or the boathouse, besides these 2 areas the rental includes the rest of the home for you to enjoy.

Our names are Shannon & Lisa. We fell in love with the Moses Lake area for its 250+ days of sunshine per year, amazing lake, fun sand dunes and so many other activities the area has to offer. We love this home and stay as often as our work & kids schedules allow us to and when we're not here, we share it with guests like you! We would be honored to have you as a guest at our lake house and hope you love it as much as we do!
Shannon & I were both born and raised in the Seattle area and have been married for 14 years. We were both previously married and have a blended family with 6 children total. We have 4 boys and 2 girls. Three of our sons are now grown and our younger children are 15, 12 & 9 years old. We love to travel, explore new areas and meet new people. We enjoy the outdoors, scuba diving, wine, eating out, gardening and absolutely love being on the water. Thank you again for considering our home for your next vacation!
