City center flat - Siena

This particularly typical holiday flat (for 2 to 4 people) is located in the heart of the historic old town of Siena and is only about 300 metres (approx. 5 minutes' walk) from the famous Piazza del Campo. The flat is on the third floor of a small medieval town house from the 16th century. The neighbourhood is the "Contrada Imperiale della Giraffa" and is probably one of the most remarkable medieval districts of Siena, inhabited exclusively by locals and exuding a very special flair.

The main shopping street "Banci di Sopra" is only about 200 metres away and all the sights within the city walls, shops, restaurants, bars, public transport and nightlife can be easily reached on foot. It is therefore not absolutely necessary to have your own car.
From the railway station it is only about 5 to 10 minutes by taxi, and the central bus station "Via La Lizza" is also only about 4-5 minutes away on foot.

If you are travelling by car, the nearest public car park is "San Francesco", which can be easily reached on foot via several escalators from Piazza San Francesco in just a few minutes.

The flat was renovated just a few years ago with great attention to detail. Particular emphasis was placed on preserving the original style typical of Siena. The wooden beams of the ceilings, some of which are up to 300 years old, have been extensively restored and the floor has been covered with cotto tiles, which are so typical of Siena. The small bathroom is fitted with light-coloured marble and has natural light.

Thanks to excellent public transport, almost every town in Tuscany, as well as every major city in Italy, can be easily reached by bus (Florence, Pisa, Rome airport, etc.).

The bus station "Via La Lizza" is only a few minutes' walk away and from here you can start excursions all over Tuscany.WiFi is available in the flat. The flat is located on the third floor of a typical medieval house from the sixteenth century, where the stairs are narrow and the ascent is somewhat steep. For this reason, the flat is not suitable for older guests or people with walking disabilities.
