BEDROOMS

This property has two spacious bedrooms at ground floor level, which have been tastefully decorated and both come with their own ensuite bathrooms for your convenience.

The first bedroom is a lovely double room with a comfortable double bed, ample storage space, and wall-mounted Freeview TV. This bedroom comes with its own ensuite bathroom, with a walk-in shower, WC, and wash hand basin.

The second bedroom is a spacious twin room with two comfortable single beds, storage space including a wardrobe, a wall-mounted Freeview TV, and an en-suite bathroom. This bathroom also has a walk-in shower, WC, and wash hand basin.

LIVING SPACE

This prime located property is perched right above the famous picture-postcard view of Tenby North Beach. Accessed from the main road by the front door, Bayview greets you with a light, comfortable open-plan living space, recently renovated in 2021. The bright space is accentuated by the warm yellow wall of the galley kitchen at the rear of the space. The kitchen area, with modern appliances and décor and beautiful cool grey tiling, has everything you would need from your home away from home. It comes with an electric oven with electric hobs, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink with drainer, and plenty of cupboard space as well as all your pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.

The comfortable sofa and chair face the wall-mounted Freeview TV and DVD for relaxing when all that sea air has become too much.

The star of the show is the dining space, located right beside the large picture windows looking right out to sea. The oak dining table and four chairs allows you to keep a watchful eye on bobbing boats, tides, and sunsets while eating your home-cooked feast. The views down the coast are truly spectacular and make this property uniquely placed for your dream holiday in Tenby.

OUTDOOR SPACE & PARKING

This property does not have outside space. But who needs a garden when the steps leading to one of the most popular beaches in Wales are quite literally across the road from your front door?

You may load and unload your vehicle at the front entrance.

Accessed conveniently from the street, this property has one car parking space in a permitted, on-street bay car park, a short walk from the property (Unsuitable for vans and campervans).

Bayview is wonderfully located, right on the shoreline of the fantastic 13th century walled town of Tenby. A popular spot for tourists all year round, Tenby is known for its colourful captains’ houses that line the clifftops above the two stunning beaches below. Winding cobbled streets weave between fish and chip shops and five-star restaurants, gift shops and high street favourites, modern cafes and ancient mariner’s inns. Looking out to sea, beyond the bobbing fishing vessels and boat trips, St Catherine’s Island in a stunning focal point. This gorgeous Napoleonic fortress sits on the tidal island at the foot of Castle Beach and has been featured regularly on TV and in films.

Take a boat trip around the South Pembrokeshire coastline where you’re bound to see the grey seals and porpoise that call this part of the world home. Take a trip from the harbour and visit the holy island of Caldey, inhabited by monks for 1,500 years, and enjoy the fantastic cheese and chocolate that they famously produce here. It’s also a great spot for wildlife lovers, with wildflowers setting the clifftops ablaze from Spring through until Autumn, with gulls, black swans, pheasants, fulmars, choughs, and the occasional visiting peregrine to be found circling above.

Just over 3 miles north of Tenby is the bucket and spade sand-lined village of Saundersfoot. With gorgeous cafes and its own brewery, Saundersfoot is the smaller, quieter sister of vibrant Tenby, and can offer some peace in busy seasons. Walk along the sand at low tide and reach Coppet Hall beach, home to the spectacular Coast restaurant. This popular restaurant is often booked up, so make sure to make reservations in advance. With a Michelin-starred chef and views across the sand to die for, you’ll see why this delightful delicacy of a restaurant is so popular.

If the kids aren’t amused enough with the surfing, rockpooling, sunbathing, and sandcastle opportunities that Tenby’s two beaches afford, then why not take advantage of the many child-friendly attractions mere miles from The Nortons? Tenby Dinosaur Park is located at nearby St Florence, a 10-minute drive away, and the mile-long dinosaur walk is bound to thrill and delight your little ones. Nearby Manor Wildlife Park is the only walk-through safari in Wales, where these creatures are real and super curious! Meet lemurs, meerkats, wallabies, and even tigers.

For a family day of fun and competition, then Heatherton World of Activities is also based in St Florence. This award-winning family day out really will take you all day, with go karting, shooting, crazy golf, ziplining, adventure playgrounds, Dragon slides, archery, bumper boats, and lots more! This all-weather, all age group adventure park has something for everyone, and even has a café for lunch between events.

To make the most of everything Pembrokeshire has to offer, we recommend having access to a car for your stay. However, being so centrally located, Bay View is easily accessible from all forms of public transport including Tenby Trainstation and bus routes.
