Your holiday home is nestled in the landlords' 3-hectare finca; your garden with subtropical plants, patio and barbecue area are located on your own 250 m² plot. Enjoy the magnificent view of the sea as far as the neighbouring islands of La Gomera and La Palma. Here, in the west of Tenerife above the coastal towns of Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena, the sun actually shines 350 days a year. You can look forward to a particularly peaceful location with a neighbouring nature reserve just 450 m above sea level. Spend an untroubled holiday with us, even in winter and under fantastic sunshine. Enjoy your holiday with numerous leisure activities, discover Tenerife's cultural heritage and gastronomic specialities.
In the outdoor area of the house you have a patio with a cosy seating area and barbecue and - a wonderful view of the fascinating surroundings. A cosy bench invites you to watch the sunset under palm trees, depending on the season, over the sea or the neighbouring islands.
In the detached holiday home you will find - apart from the magnificent view of the sea and the neighbouring islands of La Gomera and La Palma - a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas hob, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. Right next to the kitchenette is the dining table with a view of the sea. In the living area, take a seat on the comfortable sofa, read a book, enjoy music in 3.1 sound or watch a great film on the flat screen with the latest LED technology - from German-language satellite TV or a medium you have brought with you. The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin with plenty of storage space and a toilet with a fun toilet seat. The bedroom is bright, decorated with fresh colours and modern furniture; it invites you to feel at home. A gas stove is available for the cold season.
The mobile phone network of Telefónica, Vodafone and others covers the finca. Free internet access is available via WLAN within the framework of fair usage. The reception antennas are tuned to the ASTRA satellite, so you can receive the relevant German-language radio and television programmes, among others. The landlords will treat you to a good bottle of wine and a bowl of local fruit on your arrival. The neighbouring village of Chío is only 3 km away, so you can easily reach it on foot. To get to know the island better or to do the shopping, you will need a car. Opt for our bright red 4*4 Panda and leave the stress of the airport behind you: we'll pick you up! Find restaurants, go for a walk or simply get to know the country and its people. The nearest sandy beach, Playa de la Arena, is around 10 minutes away by car. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Tenerife with very fine, typically black sand and particularly clear, clean water. The nearby towns of Los Gigantes and Alcalá offer small, romantic bays.
The landlords live on the finca with their dogs and cats. The water is of the highest quality and comes from a neighbouring deep well; the electricity is supplied directly from the sun - in island mode and without a connection to the public energy supplier. On the few rainy days and especially in winter, there may be a shortage of electricity; in this case there is a diesel generator. The landlords grow wine, fruit, vegetables and spices in their own garden for their own use. If you wish, you can buy these products fresh and ecologically sound.
