Welcome to Casa La Huerta Step back in time without leaving modern comfort behind. Casa La Huerta ("The Orchard House") is an authentic, Northern New Mexico-style adobe home located in the lush Rio Grande district of Albuquerque's North Valley. Originally built in 1890 and thoughtfully expanded in the 1930s, our home offers a rare glimpse into New Mexico’s history while providing a spotless, safe, and functional retreat for modern travelers.

The home sits on one-third of an acre of private, landscaped grounds. True to its name, the property is a "garden oasis" featuring native plants, sunflowers, lavender, and a small fruit orchard. When in season, we invite you to step outside and pick fresh fruit right from the trees.

Whether you are here for the Balloon Fiesta, a quiet retreat, or a work trip, you will find peace and privacy behind our adobe walls.
