🧹 On-Site Housekeeper (Monday–Saturday)
A professional housekeeper is on-site Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, for routine cleaning, laundry, and property operations. Guests should expect staff presence during these hours. Privacy is always respected.

🛏 Housekeeping Policy
Maid service is included daily (except Sundays) for stays of 4 nights or more. For stays under 4 nights, housekeeping is provided every other day.

❄️ Air Conditioning
All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. Common areas are open-air by design. Bedroom doors must remain closed when AC is running and must be turned off when the room is unoccupied.

⚡ Power Outages
Costa Rica may experience temporary power outages during heavy rain storms — this is normal and typically resolves within a few minutes to a couple of hours. Emergency flashlights are provided throughout the house. No refunds are given for acts of God.

🔒 Security & Parking
One security camera is located at the driveway and front entrance only. Gated parking is available for up to 2 small to medium vehicles. Garage dimensions: 7.5 ft high × 16.5 ft wide × 20.5 ft deep. No 4x4 required — low-clearance sports cars not recommended.

Pre-arrival verification through Truvi is required. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text — please complete this before arriving to ensure a smooth check-in.

💳 Security Deposit & Fees
A $500 security deposit hold and a one-time $37 admin fee are required at time of booking.

📋 House Rules
1. A signed rental agreement with names, ages, and photo ID is required within 24 hours of booking. Primary renter must be 25 or older. No unregistered guests permitted at any time.

7. Third-party travel insurance is required for cancellations outside our cancellation policy.

9. Guest verification through Truvi is required prior to arrival.
10. Check-in: 3:00 PM — Check-out: 10:00 AM.

Casa Calma is located in a natural jungle setting bordering Manuel Antonio National Park. Guests may encounter insects (ants, mosquitoes, spiders) and native wildlife (lizards, snakes, monkeys). We take every precaution to minimize such encounters, but interactions with local flora and fauna are part of the authentic Costa Rican experience.
