Paddler's Paradise with free use of 2 kayaks, 2 SUP's, 16' aluminum row boat, 5-person pedal boat! We also provide cornhole / bags set for yard games around the campfire!

This 3 bedroom (7 beds) / 2 bathrooms / 1,500 sq foot lakefront cabin sits on a private 1-acre of forestland offering year-round activities for the outdoor enthusiast! The secluded drive through the rolling Blue Hills of the Barron County Forest offers a true “up-north” feeling as you arrive at the cabin.

Cozy Bear Cabin is nestled on a private bay on Hemlock Lake (connected to Red Cedar & Balsam Lakes) & offers relaxing lake views in a secluded setting!

Enjoy beautiful Hemlock Lake views from the backyard, evenings relaxing in the large screened-in porch, grilling on the deck, and making s’mores around the campfire!

The living room has space to comfortably seat the whole family to gather around the electric fireplace and the smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen offers modern appliance and all the cooking utensils needed, space for 10 people to sit, plus a Keurig coffee pot and single-serve coffee maker (paper coffee filters and some K-cups included), and a Ninja blender for margaritas and smoothies.

* Summer Months! *

Summer months offer some of the best boating, watersports, fishing, hiking, biking, and golfing in the Northwoods! All three of the lakes have crystal-clear waters and provide great fishing for walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish! Boat to various bars and restaurants on Red Cedar Lake. Plenty of open water to navigate in your boat with about 2,500 acres and 30 miles of shoreline to explore.

Enjoy kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, pedal-boating, or taking the rowboat for a lap around the lake! Plus the 18-hole Tagalong Golf Course (located along the Red Cedar Lake shoreline) is only 7 miles from the cabin!

Also, a great location for hiking with the Ice Age Hiking Trailhead being located only 3 miles from the cabin. This trail is open year round and winter hiking is magical! Take your mountain bike a few miles north to the endless CAMBA off-road bike trails around the Hayward area.

* Winter months! *

The winter months provide incredible ice fishing (Hemlock Lake is a hidden gem). Drive out on the lake with your 4x4, and pop up your ice shack, and enjoy fantastic hard water fishing in the WI Northwoods. Multiple ice roads are plowed in the winter months for easy access to the best fishing locations.

Plus, hop on your snowmobile and cruise down the back yard across the lake and you have access to over 250 miles of the best snowmobile trails in the Midwest!

Snow shoeing and cross-country skiing on the lake, and Christie Mountain Ski Resort is only 15 miles from our cabin where you can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing!! Sip a mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles around the outdoor firepit after a long day hitting the slopes!
