The space
Hop off the steps and into the water!

Grab your family, friends, dog – or just yourself – and come enjoy a delightful stay at the beach! Daytimes can be filled with beachcombing, birding, exploring the tide-flats, visiting local attractions, or exploring nearby hiking trails. As the tide comes in you might want to hop in the kayaks for a sunset paddle, then enjoy a relaxing dinner on the deck, or visit one of our delicious local restaurants. Finish the day around the firepit with s’mores, or stargazing from the deck (or both). Fall asleep to the gentle lapping of the waves.

Beach - the steps are right out the back door. If steps aren’t an option (for you or your dog) there is access at the public area two houses away.
State Park - one mile down the road or beach
Closest restaurant - 1/2 miles north along the beach

→ Bedroom #2: Double-over-double bunk bed, great for both children and adults.
→ Bedroom #3: (Master Bedroom II) Relaxing room on the opposite side of the house. King-size bed with an optional trundle and a private bath.

Work from Home:

We provide two desks for your work-away-from home: one in a quiet private bedroom, and the other with views of the lapping waves. You can choose which supports your important work the most!

Our beachfront bungalow is the perfect place for a long or short getaway! As one guest wrote: "Hop off the back porch and paddle"!

Guest access
Guest Entry is through the front door with an electronic smart lock. Enter your code (posed in the listing and welcome message) and lock will open automatically. To lock just tap the lock icon.

Other things to note
The minimum age for the primary renter of the home is 25. If you are under 25 we hope to see you in a few years :)

We strive to be eco-friendly as well as accommodate guests with allergies or sensitivities, so linens and towels are washed using fragrance-free laundry detergent and environmentally-friendly cleaning products are used throughout. Fragrances in cleaning products are kept to a minimum.

The mini-split with AC is located in the living room and each bedroom has a fan to circulate the cooled air.

We allow dogs (maximum two) but the yard is only partially fenced so leashes are required. We ask that dogs not be left alone in the house as the barking is bothersome to the neighbors. Other pets are not allowed.

IMPORTANT: If you are planning to harvest shellfish it is important to check daily to be sure there isn't an algae bloom, commonly called "red tide". The website is www. wdfw.wa. gov. When you get to the site type Birch Bay State Park into the search bar then click on the first option.
