The Upstairs "Air Room" boasts an Architectural Window with a breath-taking view of Mount Shasta. The Queen Size bed offers extra height with a conventional boxspring and bedframe. The accent chair creates a cozy nook for enjoying a good book & view!
"Air" (upstairs): A secretary desk provides a functional surface for writing & working with a view out to the spacious attached balcony. Guests rave about our rock-solid WiFi: perfect for zoom calls, distance learning & work-from-home!
The balcony attached to the “Air” room overlooks the enclosed grassy/snowy backyard and the mountain vistas to the West. Don’t miss the fabulous sunset views towards Mount Eddy!
The Blue "Water Room" (upstairs) has an extra thick Queen Memory-Foam Mattress, a large desk, and twin-sized Futon. We recommend this room for those who prefer tall beds, cooler treetop views and the color blue.
"Water" (upstairs): The twin futon is perfect if you have a child who prefers to sleep in the same room with parents or want a spot to hang out or stretch out for a nap.
The upstairs bathroom has a separate bath & standing shower with handheld nozzle and twin sinks. It connects to the "water" and "air" rooms upstairs
The upstairs "Jack & Jill" bathroom is shared by the upstairs "Air" and "Water" bedrooms. With twin sinks, a shower and bathtub, there is plenty of space, but with dual access, we recommend that the people sharing this bathroom should be comfortable with each other.
The upstairs bathroom is attached to a walk-in closet shared by the 2 UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS. There are pocket-doors to close-off these spaces for privacy, so we recommend that people who are comfortable with each other stay in the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

View out the Upstairs Bathroom Window. It's a beautiful thing to be greeted by the mountain each morning! These lenticular clouds are the source of some incredible stories in Mt. Shasta!
"Earth Room" (downstairs): Heritage Bamboo Wallpaper inspired the Asian theme for this room. In summer, this is the coolest room and the closest to the bathroom, outfitted with a functional desk, Queen bed, with refreshing bamboo rugs.

"Fire Room" (downstairs): Decorated with a minimalist/postmodern flair by the artist in the family, this room boasts a black/grey/red theme with a large bed and generous workspace. WiFi coverage is excellent throughout the property with mesh system.
"Fire" (downstairs) Queen bed, desk, closet and nightstands with drawers to hold clothing.
The common areas welcome you with ample comfortable seating and the perfect space to hang-out, enjoy views of the mountain, play retro video games, snuggle up with a good book, or watch movies.
Situated right under the heater/AC with a tranquil view of the mountain, this is a bright, cozy spot to curl up any time of day, any season!
Enjoy Hulu/Netflix/Amazon on the flatscreen TV, play video games on retro gaming systems or enjoy any of our large number of board games.
The Dining Room provides a lovely view of Mount Shasta and has a socket in the corner to convert this into an excellent workstation/laptop surface.
The Dining Room Table has a leaf for larger parties and extends to comfortably seat 6.
The Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare complete family meals. We also offer a washer/dryer to save you a trip to the laundromat!

Downstairs bathroom has a bath/shower combo with handheld shower nozzle.
STAIRS: There are 15 steep, narrow steps leading to the upstairs bedrooms. The views from the balcony & architectural window are worth it, but those with limited mobility might prefer to stay downstairs in the "Earth" or "Fire" rooms.
The front porch provides a front-row view of the changing of the seasons and the majestic mountain. It's a serene way to enjoy a morning cup of coffee/tea or "Happy Hour!"
The backyard is fully enclosed to keep pets and children safe.
During the warmer months (June- September), we offer outdoor seating in the backyard. Here you see our "4 Elements" mural, painted by Adelaide Sanborn de Asis.
Relax around the firepit on the comfy outdoor seating, toast smores or take a little snooze in the hammock during warmer weather!
We offer a small propane grill in the back yard: excellent for grilling fish during our incredible fishing season!
For your convenience, we offer storage for your outdoor equipment such as bikes, snowboards, skis, snowshoes, fishing equipment and so on. We also offer a padlock so you can securely lock it up.
Autumn at the 4 Elements House offers a front row view to the brilliance of changing seasons.
Spring at the 4 Elements House is an explosion of color and lots of new shoots and blossoms.
Once you enjoy the beauty of one season at the 4 Elements House, you will want to return to appreciate the other 3. It's breath-taking!

Spring at the 4 Elements House is marvelous time to discover the magic of the Mt Shasta wilderness as new life emerges and our local waterfalls offer breathtaking views.
In winter, the house gets a bit of snow, but the road is well-plowed and although there is plenty of the white stuff to play in on the mountain, the house & town often clear up first.
In summer, the 4 Elements House keeps you cool with AC and filters in case the air gets smoky due to "fire season."
Spring at the 4 Elements House is marvelous time to discover the magic of the Mt Shasta wilderness as new life emerges and our local waterfalls offer breathtaking views.
For working/studying from home, we have the most reliable internet possible in Mt Shasta: Fiber install with 62 down/12 up. Not quite as fast and not symmetrical like fiber in more metropolitan areas, but it's consistent and more reliable than cable which is important for VPN and video call users. Around the property we have an Eero mesh network so the signal extends to every edge of the property.
