This is a 8400 sqft expansion of a charming new england farmhouse built in 1826. It is a former award-winning inn that is now a multi-family vacation home.

Our place can sleep up to 26 in the 13 bedrooms, 5 of which are larger suites. All bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and include their own private bathrooms. The five larger suites have in-room gas fireplaces and face south with pretty garden views. Two of the suites also feature private balconies and two have king beds. The eight remaining regular hotel-sized rooms have queen beds and face north with spectacular mountain views.

The first floor has a large dining rom with panoramic mountain views, a commercial-style kitchen, a large cozy double living room area with a grand fireplace, and a garden-view bar/tavern with a 5-seat bar and four tables that can serve as a smaller dining room. There are additionally two half-bathrooms on the first floor.

The large pool is open seasonally mid June - late September (when it can start getting chilly) and includes a small poolside seating / lounging area.

The commercial-style kitchen isn't fancy, but is well-stocked and highly functional for medium and large groups. It features an extra-large fridge, a powerful six burner commercial gas range (the front three burners are on pilot lights and the back three need to be manually lit), a large indoor gas grill, a commercial dishwasher, a toaster, and a microwave.

The beautiful outdoor space backs onto a forest with a large network of trails for hiking and cross country skiing in the Bald Hill area. An array of truly spectacular hikes is within just 15 minutes drive time in the White Mountain National Forest on the north side of the Swift river valley and farther west along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. Of these, our favorites are the short Boulder Loop and Champney Falls trails and the more challenging South Moat trail. The Albany covered bridge and the Conway covered bridge are charming spots within 10 minutes drive, and there are a number of breathtaking views to be had to the west along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. The great Tin Mountain Conservation Center is just down the road - a mile away, and the historic and breathtaking Mount Washington auto road, open through mid-late October, is less than an hour's drive.

The Inn is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The neighbours are super friendly and will respect your privacy.

There are two security cameras on the property, both are external and facing the parking lot.
