If you are looking for a true getaway, look no further. Tucked away on a small, peaceful island, this hidden gem is uniquely surrounded by 3 bodies of water: The Potomac River, the Wicomico River, and Neale Sound. This quiet island oasis offers the perfect place to step away from the busy world!

This cottage is incredibly special to us. For four generations, it has been a sanctuary for our family-filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

The space
This 1940's cottage is nestled along the picturesque Potomac River with breathtaking views of the water from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and the primary bedroom. The interior boasts calming colors in every room, peaceful artwork, and a few unique heirlooms. The undeniable charm of the cottage feels lived in, loved, warm, and timeless, creating a very tranquil and dreamy flow throughout. The water views with boats speeding or sailing by are spectacular, especially while cooking or having your morning coffee on the deck. Watching the Eagles and Osprey soar over the water, the acrobatic Dolphins at play during the season, the majestic Cranes and Herons perched on a rock, the many groups of ducks diving about foraging for food on both land and water is simply Nature at it's best

Other things to note
This is the ideal getaway for weekenders from the DC and surrounding areas, remote workers, friends, and couples looking for a unique and memorable experience on this magical Island. There are also quite a few beautiful wedding venues very close to the island.

The large and spacious yard is perfect for outdoor games and activities.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of spices and some condiments, which you are welcome to use.

The Cobb Island Market has been completely remodeled and is now open for business. They are fully stocked and will have any items you may have forgotten during your stay.

Please keep in mind that we are on a septic system so only toilet paper can be flushed. Even if certain products say "flushable " they should NOT be flushed.

It is recommended that a night before and after each booking be blocked on the airbnb calendar to allow ample time for cleaning in between guests. That said, you can always ask if there is availability should you want to stay an extra night before or after your original booking. If it is possible, we do our best to accommodate. Thank you.
