Blue Skies At Lake Anna

As a native Nebraskan, I always loved lakes more than oceans.  However, I didn't like the cold and wind that permeates Nebraska winters, so I moved to Virginia many years ago.  Combining my love of lakes with the moderate Virginia climate makes Lake Anna a dream come true.  

I retired after a 30 year career in law enforcement and have moved into fun post-career jobs as winery festival coordinator and newspaper reporter.  I'm also involved in volunteer activities, some of which revolved around the well-being of our children.

Feel free to ask me about the lake and the number of wonderful restaurants that we have.  I wrote the 2014 and 2015 Lure of Lake Anna restaurant guides, so I've done my research.
