There are many choices for kayaking, SUP, canoeing, tubing, and boating in the area. The historic Suwannee River is right nearby, and just a bit further you can find the Santa Fe River with more wonderful springs as well as the Gulf of Mexico!
The area has several local farms and agricultural based goods, services and activities. Be sure to support the local growers and use the big grill to cook up some fresh dinner!
There are many free to low cost state, local and private parks, conservation areas, and springs on both the Suwannee and Santa Fe Rivers, and near the Gulf Coast, for exploring by foot, bicycle, inner tube, paddle board/kayak/canoe or small boat.
