Fun things to do in and around Second Breakfast

Go hiking (Wagon Ridge trail is only a few steps from the cabin. We like going up Wagon Ridge Rd and trying out the various trails from Daniel Boone trail. Don’t forget to download Avenza Map app to help you find your way.)
Soak in the hot tub
Play air hockey, foosball, or Wii Play Yardzee, bocce ball, or pool golf in the backyard
Go on a nature scavenger hunt
Find Tolkien themed décor throughout the cabin
Curl up and read a book Relax by the fireplace
Eat popcorn while watching movies (we recommend The Hobbit and The LOTR )
Play hide and seek
Catch some fish from the Leatherwood ponds
Go for a swim at the pool
Play tennis or basketball
Go biking. Leatherwood has some bikes for rent.
Go tubing at Elk Creek Make S’mores or fondue
Practice outdoor yoga or forest bathing (yes, it is a thing!)
Stargaze using the telescope! Play chess
Try the different board and card games in the basement (our family’s favorite is Set)
Lounge in the swing chairs
Go for a picnic
Ride horses
Pull the play table from under the bunk beds and use it to build castles and various structures, or to put together puzzles, or to play giant Jenga.
Pick up a postcard and write to someone special about your memorable vacation :)
