Unique luxury chalet in a marvellous location in the Peisey - Les Arcs - Paradiski ski area. Chalet Cairn ("Steinmännchen") is located in the Nancroix district, at the entrance to the Vanoise National Park. The very spacious ski chalet has a wood-burning stove with window, private sauna for 6 people, outdoor hot tub and free WLAN. The interior is modern, comfortable and spacious: a charming holiday home of the very highest quality, offering a high standard of living. The bright, spacious wellness area with sauna, shower and loungers as well as spectacular views of the three thousand metre peaks of the Bellecôte massif is the perfect place to relax and unwind. In the garden area in front is the hot tub for max. 6 people (use included in the rental price) The Peisey-Vallandry - Les Arcs - Paradiski ski area can be easily reached with the free ski bus, bus stop approx. 150 m away.

On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms with private "en suite" bathroom with shower and separate WC and a very spacious double bedroom with its own "en suite" bathroom with corner bath, separate WC, large panoramic windows with magnificent views of the valley and mountains and access to the garden. The bright, spacious wellness area with sauna, shower and loungers and access to the garden with outdoor hot tub is also on the same level. A ski room with ski boot dryer and separate entrance complete this floor.
On the first floor there is a further double bedroom with its own en suite bathroom with shower and separate WC. The very spacious living/dining area is designed as an open-plan loft with high ceilings, exposed beams and panoramic windows. There is a large, cosy seating area and two solid dining tables that can comfortably seat 15 people. The wood-burning stove ensures cosy evenings, while the flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player and games console provide entertainment. Adjacent to the dining area is the modern and very well-equipped open-plan kitchen with dishwasher, 5-burner hob with oven, separate freezer, rice cooker, deep fryer and blender, etc. From the living/dining area you can access the balcony and a large terrace with panoramic views of the magnificent mountain landscape. There is also a separate WC on this level.
On the upper floor there is a double bedroom and a triple bedroom, each with its own en suite bathroom with shower and separate WC. Each of the bedrooms has a balcony and all beds are 2 metres long.

An exclusive holiday quality: skiing in the mega ski area - living in a rustic, natural district, with a correspondingly high quality of life.stroll through the narrow streets of the picturesque mountain village of Nancroix with two Savoy restaurants, each approx. 500 m away, as well as a bar / restaurant at the cross-country skiing centre (approx. 1.2 km). Peisey-Village is 2.5 km away with its restaurants, bars, grocery shop, bakery and butcher's shop. You will also find a variety of other shops and bars in the Vallandry district, at the start of the lifts (. 3.5 km).

Access to the heart of the ski area of Les Arcs - Paradiski with its 425 km of pistes is via the Lonzagne lift from Peisey-Vilage (approx. 3.5 km) or in Vallandry / Plan Peisey, the intersection of numerous pistes and lifts approx. 4 km. Freeride ski run right up to the chalet (no piste, not groomed or marked, at your own risk). The seamlessly connected ski area comprises 175 lifts. This makes it one of the most attractive and extensive ski areas in the world. Ski pistes with an altitude difference of up to 2,000 metres, fast freeride and mogul pistes open up unlimited possibilities. Skiing is open from around the beginning of December to the end of April. The spectacular Vanoise Express cable car, which spans the valley, also starts in Peisey-Vallandry. This connects the piste area of Peisey/Les Arcs with La Plagne. Peisey lies in the middle, at the central interface. Peisey-Vallandy has specially designed beginner and children's ski areas. Children's "fun zone" with snow tyre hire. Childcare from 1 year.
The marked ski tour route Le Carroz Blanc starts directly at the chalet. The entrance to the cross-country ski trails is approx. 500 metres from the chalet, the trail network covers 40 km. Possibility of an exciting ride in a dog or horse-drawn sleigh as well as romantic snowshoe tours, also guided.

Summer info
Chalet Cairn is the ideal place to recharge your batteries. Even at breakfast on the terrace, the mountain backdrop with the peaks of the nearby Vanoise National Park creates a certain magic that is hard to resist. There are two tables and a plancha on the terrace. There are two deckchairs and a parasol on the garden level. In summer, Peisey Vallandry offers numerous opportunities for sporting activities in its spectacular mountain setting, such as mountain biking, climbing, high mountain hiking, tennis, golf, horse riding and fishing. For those who prefer adventure, there is rafting on the Isère and paragliding. Cyclists will find their challenge on the surrounding mountain passes: Col d'Iseran, Petit Saint-Bernard and Cormet de Roseland. A ride on a husky kart pulled by dogs or a zipline adventure park is a welcome change and not just for children. The highlight is certainly the Vanoise National Park with its 500 kilometres of marked hiking trails. The flora and fauna can also be explored on guided tours. For those interested in culture, the baroque chapels and churches as well as the numerous museums in the area around Peisey offer a wide range of excursions.
