Cleveland Heights vacation rentals

We loved our time at Kate’s! She was so patient with our group’s changes due to a family death. The space is beautiful and so well-kept and clean, especially for the age of homes in Cleveland Heights. You need to be aware that you will hear others in the building, but that’s the small price you pay for such local charm! My husband was amazed at how nicely the apartment was taken care of. We traveled with my 11 month-old and it was SO child friendly. She had baby linens, blankets, baby shampoo/soap, a high chair, blocks and cars, a baby play mat, and a rocking chair. One note if your child needs a very dark space to sleep, there is one window in the crib room which lets in a lot of light. We had trouble with our girl sleeping, but the other window had great blackout shades. I’d also strongly recommend a sound machine, as the floors are creaky due to the apartment. Also, my husband and I slept in the trundle bed and it was so comfortable, just in case you will be utilizing those for your group. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Had a great stay here with my family (spouse and two kids). Our five year old loved the toy selection, and the house felt safe and child proofed to be in with young kids. The location was easy for getting around town (I had to do work at the Case and Cleveland Clinic health campuses nearby, and we were visiting family on the east side of Cleveland, and it was all easy from this location) but also still quiet on the street. Good selection of restaurants and shops within a 10 min drive and also a few public libraries with nice play areas for kids. When we left behind two prized stuffed animals our hosts graciously helped us reunite with them! The layout is hard to tell from the listing but one bedroom is in the front of the house off the living room so could limit living room use after whoever sleeps there goes to bed. The other two are in the back of the house. The room with the king was very cozy and comfy. The one with the crib was quite chilly in winter and we felt too cold to use.

This was a cute, clean, comfy, cozy space in a decent walkable neighborhood w/ restaurants/bars 2mins away (on Coventry). It looked as advertised and it provided enough space (and quiet) for me to work remotely w/ strong & stable Wi-Fi. The work area alongside the kitchen was ample space to fit multiple laptops and external monitors. The kitchen was stocked with the basics to be able to cook on the electric burners if you decide to bring groceries. Even the King-sized bed was thoroughly comfortable for a great night sleep on a quality mattress (not just memory foam). Being able to park in the garage vs the street on rainy days was nice.. So was enjoying the sunset views from the bedroom. Even the basement w/ high quality washers & dryers (2 of each) was spotless. I'd definitely stay again. It was perfect while I waited for my new apartment to be ready after relocating back to Cle. Thanks Kate!

We had a great stay at this property. It was a beautiful neighborhood near a great park. We were staying for a graduation and had to get back and forth to Case Western a lot, and it was easy. One recommendations though - bring a small car, if possible. I knew there was one spot, but that one spot is tight and tricky (we brought a Subaru wagon with a car top carrier to help our son move - absolutely not possible to fit in the garage -- the other guests were very respectful and we were able to make it work though) - so not a huge problem, but I have no idea how 3 large vehicles would fit. Also, the stairs to second floor are steep. We managed it just fine, but did have a senior with a recent knee surgery . . . she did fine on them, but it might not be a good fit for someone with less mobility.

My teenagers and grandma loved the Harry Potter world that is this apartment. Very fun decorations and cozy nooks perfect for teenagers! Washer and dryer are very big, so doing laundry was super easy. Kate goes above and beyond with prepping the place so that all the essentials (and more) are there, and she was always responsive whenever I had questions. I loved walking / jogging around the neighborhood. It’s very close to a lake and nature preserve with trails. There’s a bakery around the corner, and everyone loved their baked goods and bread.

We had a quiet and relaxing 4-night stay for a family of four over 4th of July weekend. Home is about 20-30 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby the house if needed. Neighborhood was quiet and home seemed even bigger inside than it looked. Easily sleeps 6-8 and nice shaded sitting area with propane grill in the back yard. Will definitely check availability again in the future!

This visit was so nostalgic! The place was clean with such an inviting “feel”. The bedrooms were spacious and I loved the kitchen layout. The space was great for entertaining family. We were able to converse with family and friends in both rooms on the first floor. The third floor suite was spacious and comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Alex was super responsive and pleasant to communicate with.
