I am a native Texan and grew up coming to the Texas coast. As a family, we have traveled all over the world, and this little slice holds a special place in our hearts. Our little family fell in love with Matagorda when our son was only 3 months old. We've been frequent visitors ever since and in 2017 we purchased our dream home. Part of that dream is sharing these memories with other families, such as yours. My husband is an avid fisherman and I can't get enough of the beach. We currently live in Austin and make the quick drive down to Matagorda as frequently as possible. We've found our perfect, peaceful, getaway and we hope you'll feel the same way.
