Rustic, cozy log cabin in Jay, VT ~2 mi Jay Peak - Jay

Welcome to The Jay Tuckaway- a quintessential Vermont rustic cabin surrounded by mountains with a view of Jay Peak. We are 2.7 Miles to the Jay Peak and all it has to offer.
Plenty of outdoor activities to do in all seasons.
Hiking, skiing, mountain biking, golfing, Nordic trails, snow shoeing all minutes from the cabin. Enjoy the water park at the resort.

The space
Cabin is roughly 1000 square feet. Relaxing wrap around deck overlooking the mountains. Private setting on 10 acres.
The first floor has kitchen, dining, living, bedroom. Full bath w tub and washer & dryer. Second floor has a bedroom and attached full bath. There is an open loft with a twin bed.
Basement is not available.
Outside there is a fire pit. Deck has a grill and a blackstone for use.
The woodstove is not available for use.

Guest access
The whole house is available to use with the exception of the basement which will be locked. The yard is available.
There is a lot of wildlife in the yard including bears.

There is a fire pit behind the house.

***The wood stove is not permitted for use***

We recommend 4 wheel (4WD) vehicles and / or snow tires in Vermont during the winter and mud season ( March/April).
The cabin is on a dirt road ( maintained) up a hill. Can make travel icy and difficult in the winter.

I require a signed rental agreement and copy of ID after booking that will be emailed to you.

Other things to note
Due to the cabin being rustic- not all rooms are sound proofed. There have been recent improvements made regarding this but we take care to disclose. All improvements have been made with careful consideration to not lose the rustic charm of the cabin so there is a balance to strike.

What is called the bedroom 3 in this listing is the loft.

Jay is a great place to explore hiking with dogs. We ask that you please keep pets off furniture and beds and crate dogs while out.
