Kihei vacation rentals

Wow!! Our best Airbnb experience, EVER!! We love traveling and often use Airbnb and DiAnne ‘s place was absolutely perfect! DiAnne is an outstanding host with excellent communication and attentiveness. Her condo was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was outstanding and we were able to easily prepare our meals which saved money and helped us to stick with our healthy nutrition choices. DiAnne’s place was peaceful, very safe, cute, comfortable , conveniently located and an outstanding value. The staff and security team were friendly and very professional. The bed was very comfortable and all of the neighbors were respectful and quiet. We slept well. The pool was so nice and it was an easy, close walk to do laundry which saved us $120 because we didn’t need checked bags! The bus was easy to walk to and loved the Kihei which provides free transportation to and from the airport. The beach was so close! We were able to enjoy the sunset!

My partner and I stayed in Sean's studio apartment for 5 nights and had a great time. The unit was small (400 sqft. or so), but well layed out, extremely clean and had everything you need for a comfortable vacation in Maui. The space is more modern than many rentals on the Island and all the decor was really lovely. Both the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with all the essentials you could ever want, the lighting was great and everything worked well. The smart TV in front of the bed is really nice touch for cozying up and watching movies at night. Location of the unit is on the Northern end of Kihei so it's very easy access to the Airport (20 min drive) and although there are definitely some stores/restaurants and beaches within walking distance, the nicer beaches and shops are about 10-15 min drive south. Parking is easy in the building, hosts were attentive and the place had several lovely, thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend for any single person or couple looking for a cozy, comfortable place to stay on South Maui.

We spent two weeks at the Maui Garden Oasis with five adults and two children and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The photos on the website are accurate and I feel they don’t do it justice, the house is beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, spices, and a great coffee grinder. The garage is filled with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, games, coolers, towels, snorkels, masks, everything you need for a day at the beach. This house was one of the few that we looked at which had a nice big dining room table for a large group, but we spent almost all of our time in the beautiful backyard, where there is plenty of comfortable seating, a picnic table, hot tub, outdoor shower, fruit trees, a fantastic BBQ, and plenty of shade. The bedrooms had either King or Queen beds that were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available. Each room had air conditioning that made the warm evenings that much more comfortable. There were TV’s everywhere but we rarely turned them on. There is fast wifi, which, made uploading snorkeling videos to Facebook easy. One thing that sticks out for me is the strong water pressure, which, is essential for blasting a days worth of sand and sunscreen off. Any minor problems we had were met with a very quick response and action. The house is located walking distance to the main road, shopping, playground and restaurants and a short drive to some amazing beaches. The neighbourhood is quiet, except for the wild chickens, and safe. My concern with vacationing with seven people, even though they were family, was that we’d be on top of each other. That was not the case at the Maui Garden Oasis, the home was big enough and with the large outdoor living area we never felt cramped. If we travel to Maui with a group again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

It was a nice treat after long hours of travel to let my hair down once we got to our room. The host was extremely prompt and detail oriented to assure we had a seamless check in and was thoughtful and provided ideas on how to spend our stay. I was happily surprised that our contribution went to helping rescue Maui marine wildlife. We will be staying here again.

Probably the best outfitted rental I’ve ever had, seriously, this condo had everything that you could need for a beach rental. Even things that are atypical were there like laundry soap, beach cart, snorkeling gear, and a cooler. The location was good. The pool is right outside of the unit, and one of the best beaches in the area was a 5 minute walk away. There were many affordable restaurant options in walkable distance, and just a few minutes in the car got you to many more. Would definitely stay again if we find ourselves vacationing in Maui.

I’ve been looking forward to writing this review since we first checked in. What an absolute gem of a place! Lindsey is one of the best hosts out there and this place made me wish we had stayed here the other times we had been in Maui. The kitchen is fully stocked and feels like you’re at home. The entire place was furnished beautifully, super clean, and very thought out. There were extra towels and beach towels, sand toys for kiddos, beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler etc. The location was the best part. It takes just a couple minutes to get to the beach and we loved going on sunrise and sunset walks. We spent lots of time at the pool as well. It’s not heated but works to cool off on a hot day. We would definitely recommend and plan on staying here again in the future.

Great place to stay in Maui. Fairly close to good beaches and really good restaurants. The house is very clean with all the extras you need. Even though in a neighborhood it’s very private with its own hot tub and beautiful landscaping. Highly recommend.

Not only does this condo provide you a luxuriously furnished place, it offers serenity and calm moments to soak up the aloha spirit in the morning breezes or sunset vibrant colors each evening. You will not be disappointed whatsoever! In fact, you’ll begin planning for a return visit before you leave. Laurie and Jeff are amazing owners and truly deliver 5-star service from beginning to end. You will find yourself in an island paradise location with one of two pools just steps away and one of several beaches a walk down the condo complex driveway. Laurie and Jeff have furnished this home with everything you can think of for your vacation needs (from beach gear, kitchen needs, bath/BR linens, electronic connections, etc). You can cook your own meals or explore the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance of a short drive away. Don’t forget to get your local Shave Ice treat too! You can immerse yourself in the many various island activities (snorkeling, paddle boarding, fishing, beach walking, swimming, mountain biking adventures on Mt. Haleakala as well trips to Lahaina, Upcountry and/or taking a cruise to Hana and exploring the waterfalls and delightful swimming spots along the way. OR, you can do everything that brings you rest, relaxation and rejuvenation of the body/spirit/soul. Enjoy the patio while listening to the soft songs of the island birds while breathing in the sweet scent of the plumeria tree or sit by the pool that’s just steps away or languish under a palm tree/umbrella on the beaches that are a short stroll from this condo. Give yourself and your family/friends the most enjoyable and memorable vacation at Kihei Hale O Maluhia. You’ll be on Maui time and living in the island spirit before you know it! Aloha!
