Remember to always book on a booking-fee-free site or website for the lowest traveler cost. Remember, listing sites use to be fee-free. But now, the likes of Homeaway, Vrbo, Booking, and Trip Advisor affiliated listing sites either charges the guest an additional booking fee, or the owner a new booking commision fee, both of which don't exist on fee-free or bookdirect sites. The result is that the guest pays higher total prices that reflect these fees.
Remember, on these booking-fee based sites..."Look but Don't Book, Search and Find a property you like and Note its Name, then Search for it on Google to find your lowest price, without in the end, paying the extra fees.
I would expect the first line of many fee-based site listings to soon be:
"Thanks for looking at our listing, please realize this is only one of many places you can find our listing, each with a different total quoted amount that includes the site's imposed owner paid commissions, and guest paid service fees."
OR
"Thanks for looking at our listing, please realize the total quoted amount reflects this site's owner paid commissions and guest paid service fees it charges!"
