Philadelphia vacation rentals

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gabe & Jon's Old City location. It looked exactly like the pictures & perfect for us (2 adults/2 teenagers) with everything we needed for a week long stay. Gabe/Jon were very helpful & quick to respond if I had any questions. Beds were super comfortable & had plenty of pillows to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals there. The washer & dryer was convenient to have as well. The bathrooms had soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner provided plus plenty of towels. Parking was challenging but we parked at the Old City Parkominium for overnight parking & didn't have any issues. The location was close enough for us to walk to most everything we wanted to see (Betsy Ross House, Independence Square, Ben Franklin Museum, Thaddeus Kosciuszko house, & more). We felt very safe here & were near quite a few pretty parks, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. The kids loved the arcade games! If we are ever back in Philly we will stay here again!

When we first drove to the place, it appeared extremely sketchy. However, there were no issues and it was extremely safe. The residence was very clean, modern and perfect for us. We were traveling with our 7 yo and he thought the house was awesome! I did notice the house had many accommodations if you are traveling with smaller children ( pack n play, high chair , etc.) If you like to sleep in, noise was minimal to almost non-existent. The battery to the smoke alarm was failing. We contacted the owners at approximately 10 pm, and they were quick to respond and fix the issue ! Parking can be tricky but we found a spot in front of the residence or within 2-3 min walking distance every day/ night . If possible , have a backing up camera or someone to help with parking bc spaces can be tight all over Philly, but Don’t let that discourage you. These Philly’s can fit in tight spaces so you can too. Highly recommend the place, Gabriel was a fantastic host and has a wonderful place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at Gabriel's place! It was so nice to come home to a beautiful AND clean place after a day in the city. We stayed for three nights: two adults, two teenagers and 2 younger children. We had plenty of space and everyone was spread out. The kids started and finished the day in the game room. Parking was a bit of a pain. The locals are definitely pros at parallel parking! We managed to find a spot every time, but it is definitely easier during the day when some of the residents are gone. We joked that Philly is a city of scratched rims. You have to park very close to the curb and fold your mirror. Subway station is a short walk away, so we used it a few times (kids under 12 are free with paying adults). The ballpark is 30 minutes away by foot, we enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods. Wish we had more time to explore South Philly! We highly recommend Gabe's place and hope to some day return and stay at one of his other rentals.

Gabe's place was great. Located on a quiet street but close (within walking distance) to many shops, restaurants, bars and breweries. The house was spotless and spacious. Keyless entry was convenient. The bed and pillows were very comfy. We loved the high tech fixtures in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was great and the temperature easy to control. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had coffee, which was a welcome treat each morning. Gabe was very responsive and answered any questions we had. He even checked in on us to see if we needed anything. His guidebook was awesome; full of information about the house, restaurants and attractions in the city and had clear instructions regarding things like where to throw the garbage, etc. Parking was quite tough so we opted to pay for a spot in a lot for the duration of our stay and walked and Ubered to where we wanted to go. Overall a great stay and we'll definitely look for one of Gabe's places again next time we visit the city.

An absolutely beautiful apartment in an incredibly convenient location. This one has it all. Simple and clean, with the added bonus of a rooftop terrace. We spent hours on the terrace both nights just chatting and watching everyone go about their business below. It was a nice way to enjoy the city without being overwhelmed by it. There were several unique and delicious restaurants and cafes within one block. Highly recommend The Middle Child for the best breakfast sandwiches. Also only about a 10- minute walk to local nightlife. The added bonus? The local transit system has a stop right out the front door, so it was easy to park our vehicle for the few days that we were there and explore without the added stress of driving through the city. It was a wonderful stay, the host was responsive and very nice. We would certainly choose this place again for our next trip to the city.

The Airbnb was a great value for the price. The bedrooms were very nice, and while the main living space would be a little tight for four adults, it’s easy to accept given the price point. The interior was clean and well-decorated, the location was very central, and having private parking was a huge bonus that’s almost unheard of in this area. The only downside is that the property is about 50 feet from Front Street. Most of the time this probably isn’t an issue, but during our stay there was a block party that was so loud it even set off the host’s noise sensor. It did end at 10pm, but it was tough to manage with a toddler. Overall, we would recommend this Airbnb. It’s a great option for travelers who want to enjoy the bars and nightlife, but if you’re traveling with kids or are sensitive to noise, it may be worth checking with the host to see if any events are scheduled during your stay.

Absolutely seamless experience checking in. Very much enjoyed this cozy and stylish apartment. Perfect size for a couple. Extra points for filtered water jug in the fridge. We loved the king size bed, slept in too much every morning. A quick walk to the grocery store down girard and we had everything we needed for a good breakfast every morning. Shower was magnificent, i enjoyed all the tasteful details in the tile and glass finish. Gabriel was very attentive and ready to respond should anything have come up. Parking takes some effort but we were able to park on front street and Howard each night. Would recommend for any couple looking to explore philly. Located perfectly between all the museums and local attractions. Plenty of restaurants near by. Would definitely rebook.

Rebecca’s suite is like renting a luxury 700 sqft studio apartment. Like, insanely luxurious. Beauty Queen Platinum mattress and down comforter, double rain shower, soaking tub, giant windows for lighting with blackout curtains for sleeping in. There is so much privacy, you forget other people are renting on separate floors. The location is perfect and safe to walk to multiple bars, restaurants, diners, ice cream shops, etc. And the subway is a short walk to ride downtown in 10 minutes. There is absolutely no reason to rent a car when you stay at Rebecca’s. The airport was a $28 Uber ride. Downtown was a $12 ride. And the rest was all walking. Clear instructions from house rules to how to get to the subway are posted everywhere in her house. And any additional questions we had, Rebecca answered immediately. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we come back.
