“Can you fish from your dock and what can you catch?” This is one of the top questions we get from guests who book The Seahorse Retreat and Palm Breeze Beach House - our homes in Navarre on the Santa Rosa Sound.
If you book either The Seahorse Retreat or The Palm Breeze Beach House, you will most likely want to kayak on the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound (our backyard), and the calm waters (in good weather) make it an ideal place to do that. And, since both homes provide tandem kayaks to guests, it is easy to bring them down to the beach and launch out into the shallow water to explore.
Staying at The Seahorse Retreat or Palm Breeze Beach House is not just about relaxing, but having fun getting close to the natural surrounding. The Blackwater River is a little more than 30 minutes north of us. As this video from See Through Canoes shows, it is a uniquely beautiful place.
