We arrived at Alicias place just after check in time to be greeted by a card to wish us a nice stay, and it turned into exactly that. Alicia came to intoduce herself quickly despite giving us easy to follow guides to allow us entry to the property. The property itself was clean and tidy and had everything needed to relax in and feel like a home away from home. Big sofa, tv with Netflix, kitchen area with microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee/tea maker, bathroom, bedroom with an extra big bed and many extra sleeping areas to house a bigger group. Alicia communicated with us leading upto our trip and continued to do so even when we were out and about, giving us advise on local eateries and places to visit. The property itself is located just an hour or so drive from Death Valley and only an hours drive from Las Vegas so a perfect hub for those wanting to explore more of Nevada than just the bright lights of Sin City. Add to that an outside pool which was appreciated after visits to Death Valley, outdoor seating areas, lots of parking spaces, this place makes the perfect stay away, more so with her 2 dogs who come to see us on a few occassions, made up for us being away from our own doggy. Alicia also offers a freshly cooked breakfast each day at a time that suits your needs which sets you up for the majority of the day, including eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes. Wouldnt hessitate to stay again even after having 5 days already there, and even thinking of rebooking for next year once back in the UK. A must use for Airbnb users wanting to explore more of Nevada/California than just the usual main cities.

We stayed here about a year ago and it was our first time in GA Brunswick-St. Simon's area. We liked it so much we stayed with Schelley again. Her place has everything you need for a comfortable, convenient stay. From inviting bed and sofa w large TV to fully stocked kitchen with condiments, spices, etc. Bath and laundry with all necessities provided. The decor is homey and fun beach vibe. Speaking of! St. Simon's Isle is nearby with wonderful beaches. If you want to stay put with your pup, Schelley has the ideal slice of fenced-in heaven to enjoy. Backing up to scenic marsh with deck and pretty view. Lots of palms and live oaks (state tree) with Spanish moss adorn her property. Schelley ensures her property is functional, maintained, clean - plus she's responsive and knowledgeable. She has made this her pride and joy. We also love her pup, Miss Willow. Highly recommend this place to those looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat. Oh, there is tons of great seafood in the area right near Schelley and the Golden Isles. Enjoy!

We stayed at Donna and Cameron's place for three nights while on our "retirement trip" to Australia.Communication with Donna was so easy from the moment that we first booked the accommodation until check-out. Donna and Cameron met us when we arrived and showed us around. They were available for questions throughout our stay, but gave us as much privacy as we wanted.The vacation rental was exactly as described, and was extremely clean. The bathroom has an amazing huge shower with two shower heads--one a rain shower and the other a regular showerhead.We had a loaf of homemade bread, fresh-from-the farm eggs, strawberries, other fruit, tomatoes, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee waiting for us when we arrived--what a breakfast treat!Although the "kitchen area" is small, it has everything you need to make simple meals, reheat leftovers and enjoy the delicious breakfast!The rental is conveniently located close enough to Adelaide to sightsee, but far enough away to be away from the "hustle and bustle" of the city. It is very close to all of the McLaren Vale wineries--you could spend days doing all of them. You can also walk the beach and did I mention that the sunsets were amazing!!!??If you are looking for a place close to Adelaide and wineries, with great amenities and amazing sunsets, this is the place for you.

Following a death in the family, we decided to go to Cape Cod for a vacation. We had been there many times before, but we always stayed in the Orleans area. This time we decided to explore the Harwich/Dennis/Yarmouth areas. It was a wise choice. The home we rented in Harwich was centrally located on a spacious lot, resulting in much privacy. The home was "dog friendly" so we were able to bring our Cocker Spaniel, who enhanced our vacation. The inside of the home was bright and cheerful. Sheets, blankets, and towels were provided, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a huge "great room" where the kitchen, dining area, and living room were opened, and many hours were spent reading or watching TV with a multitude of channels. WiFi was provided, and our computers worked well. Had it been warmer, we would have utilized the beautiful deck and gas grill. We cooked and ate inside most of the time. There were many places to visit in our location. One of our favorites was a nearby Cranberry Bog, which had a bus tour of the property and farming techniques used. The beaches were lovely. It was off season so our dog loved walking on the beach and chasing the seagulls. Many restaurants served some of the finest seafood we have ever eaten. My husband was shown some of the best fishing areas and plans to return in the spring to enjoy the sport. The Cape Cod Potato Chip Plant in Hyannis provided us with a tour of its facilities and gave us some samples of their chips. We enjoyed meeting new friends and appreciated their kindness toward us. The owners of this property care about "your stay." If anything needed to be attended to, they addressed it immediately. We will return. Upon leaving, we were rejuvenated!

We rented this beach house for our wedding and it could not have been more perfect. I could not believe how nice this home was and all of the amenities and accommodations Dan offers. The weather thank goodness was definitely in our favor which was even more perfect. We had our ceremony rite their on the beach in front of the house on 6/13 on a Monday , we had our reception underneath the home and decorated it to perfection. This definetly gave us the dream wedding I have always wanted to the tee plus more. The bedrooms were great and the upstairs master bedroom and bathroom were perfect for me as the bride to get ready with my wedding party. The deck is so spacious and the view is absolutely breath taking, it was so nice to just sit on the deck and watch the waves, dance and have all of my family and friends together. The upstairs master also has a private deck which was great for my new husband and I to relax by our selves and drink coffee. The smart home features are great to literally control everything in the home. The radio worked throughout the entire home and outside , it was pretty nice. Dan was very good about calling us to see if we needed anything and to help with the Internet. The house also has 2 queen size airmattress that we didn't need but definitely awesome to have available if needed. The AC worked great, the laundry room has a brand new washer and dryer and even comes with everything you need to do laundry, I thought that was great. My wedding photos that I have so far have come out breathtaking with the stair way for me to come down in my wedding dress to the nice stairway in front of the beach house we had all decorated, it was picture perfect. I have nothing but great things to say about this home and Dan. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we definetly want to book it again real soon.

Our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge was lovely. The cabin is well appointed, large, and comfortable and provides endless opportunities to be well entertained. We most enjoyed the outdoor space. The weather was very cool so having a fireplace and outdoor curtains was perfect, you could still enjoy being out of doors without being cold. There were 2 barbeques, one in the open air and one in a covered space which was very handy the day it rained and we could still grill our dinner. Loved that part!! As far as inside of the cabin goes, the kitchen was just wonderful, well stocked with small appliances and plenty of cooking and dining accessories. Bedrooms were large and comfortable and cabin was very clean. The wildlife is also a big draw for us since we are animal lovers. There is bird seed provided for feeding and we filled all the feeders every day. Beautiful birds of a large variety and even a book for Arizona Bids was provided so you would know what kind of birds were dining from the amazing back patio. We also fed a couple different varieties of squirrels, they were hilarious. A couple of days we had a small group of Elk visit and when we ran out of the fruit we brought for them we tried a non-traditional fruit, Banana’s, the Elk were all over that. LOL! They loved the bananas. What a hoot. We had a small adventure when a little bird managed to enter our cabin and we couldn’t catch it. Our hosts sent someone right away to catch the little fella and set him free. So yes, we had a fabulous week and will be back as soon as we can. Our hosts were the best and very responsive. Thanks again for a magnificent week.

Our family had a fabulous reunion at Villa by the Castle. With 6 adults and 4 children we needed a large space that was fully equipped. This property had it all. The owners Steve and Sandy had excellent communication from first contact to check out which was very reasuring. There was a large welcome package waiting for us at check in so we didn’t have to rush to the store for essentials. Cleaning supplies, laundry and dish detergent was added bonuses. The house itself was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable with extra linens and lots of towels for the pool. The salt water pool was warm and the hot tub was a great hit with everyone. I appreciated that there was no extra charge for the pool heat. We spent hours in it every day. Two of our kids learnt to swim during our stay. Within a short walk, was the community pool with water slides for the kids, also a huge hit. The games room in the house was used by all with air hockey being the favourite. Although the we didn’t use much of it, there was lots of equipment for babies and young children. The stroller was very handy during our days at Disney. We cooked most of our meals so the extremely well equipped kitchen was greatly appreciated. There are lots of dishes, glasses, pots, pans & cooking equipment. We even made 3 birthday cakes using the equipment on hand. The house is just a few miles from Disney and we were even provided with a shortcut to the front gate. LEGO land was only 35 minutes away and was loved by all. Walmart is really close and all other major chains are nearby as are a variety of restaurants if you want to eat out. We stayed 12 days and we still didn’t do everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend Villa by the Castle; it is a great value and is the best equipped rental home I have ever stayed in. It provided a wonderful home base for our families and we hope to return again. ChrisB and family

This condo is adorable and cozy! It is beautifully decorated with a beach theme. The king-sized bed was soft, plenty of space for 2 and our dogs. The area is very nice and located near the state park and beach. We spent a lot of time taking the dogs for long walks, very relaxing. It was very nice to have a fully equipped kitchen to make coffee in the morning and breakfast. The host had great communication and was very accommodating. Westport is a cute little sleepy fishing town. Unless you are interested in taking a fishing charter there's not a whole lot to do. We did eat some fabulous pizza and I found a cute boutique shop in town. There are a few places to buy fresh seafood! Like I said, it was very relaxing and if you like to ride bikes, hike or just stroll along the beach... perfect! My only "complaint" about the condo is the walls are a little thin, you can hear people walking above you and can hear the neighbors, kind of like a hotel. If you are sensitive to noise and are trying to sleep in I suggest earplugs or white noise. My husband is still raving about our trip and the condo a week later. We will definitely look at booking this place first when we come back to Westport!
