Nags Head vacation rentals

Laura was definitely a great host, she always responded back immediately. The house was just as described, very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and space for everyone to be comfortable. Towels, linens and beds were all nice and comfortable. They offered games to play, have nice balcony’s with decent views. We can’t forget the relaxing hammock! Our only minor complaint was that the back yard wasn’t mowed the grass was really tall so it was hard to enjoy the fire pit area. We still used it and enjoyed ourselves but it was a little annoying since this was a huge reason we rented the home. We cooked a lot so we ended up using the two garbage bags that were there, and they had none available. These are very minor issues that definitely don’t change how we feel about our stay. A nice quick walk to the beach access around the corner. We really enjoyed our time here and we thank you for a great stay! We would definitely stay again in the future.

My family had a wonderful stay at Reel Salt OBX. Tracy was available with prompt and courteous correspondence every time I messaged her. It’s a short walk to the beach from the property and we appreciated the beach cart and chairs that were provided. The house had everything that we needed and my kids loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Furniture was new and the house was clean. We really liked Waveriders and Morning View for coffee. The Spot had excellent Açaí bowls. My kids loved Benny Tesoro’s for pizza and Coastal Creamery. We took some beautiful family photos behind Coastal Creamery and at Bodie Lighthouse at dusk. We went to see Hatteras Lighthouse but it is covered in scaffolding. Not sure when restoration will be complete. Our trip out there was not for nothing though because we stopped at Orange Blossom Bakery for their “Apple ugly” which was worth the trip! Thanks for sharing your home with us, Tracy! We made some beautiful memories.

First of all let me tell you how wonderful the hosts are! My husband & I needed a last minute quick getaway and they made it happen. We felt welcomed into their beautiful home even before we checked in. The home is GORGEOUS and serene! With beautiful views of the ocean from the main floor. The kitchen was well stocked with all you need to vacation or live with as far as dishes, pots, pans, etc. The coffee & tea bar was impressive (as my husband & I are avid coffee drinkers). The master bedroom was comfortable and relaxing with attention to room darkening drapes & power strips on nightstands. The master bath looked like you just stepped into your own personal spa. The bath tub was the most beautiful tub I have EVER seen! And I am very into interior design, and now I want one. The toiletries were delightful with hints of coconut which is perfect for the beach. SO MANY bedrooms and so much room for large families or gatherings. The bunk room was my personal favorite, as it’s perfect for the kids or grandkids. The table on the main deck must have seating for 20, it’s HUGE! There is a pool & hot tub and a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. PERFECT for anyone wanting to getaway anytime of the year. It was only the two of us this time but we will sure be back with our kids & grandkids in the near future! ❤️

We stayed at the house during the 2023 winter holidays (December 23-30) and had a blast. The house was spacious, clean, well-organized, and generally well stocked. Guests included my spouse and me, our kids (ages 12), and two sets of in-laws. Things we loved about the property: - Spacious living room with plenty of seating and great ocean views. - Separate sunroom for reading or getting some space from family. - Highly functional kitchen with recently upgraded counters and appliances. - Ideal location (5 minute walk to the beach, less than one block from Cape Hatteras National Seashore, 10 minutes to grocery store and other shops). - Precise climate control. No problems with heat or air. - Plenty of towels and sheets provided as promised. - Well stocked with dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and started toilet paper. A few minor areas for improvement; - Property manager had our check-in date incorrect. House was ready, but we had to call to obtain the access code. - A few kitchen items were broken or non-functional (e.g., coffee carafe had crack in the bottom, kitchen scissors were very dull). - Check-out instructions posted on the fridge were slightly outdated and didn't match digital instructions. Overall, we had a terrific stay and would definitely reserve this property again if visiting the Outer Banks!

So cozy! But cozy in a comfy way not meaning small at all. The open floor plan was terrific. All of the beds and linens were very comfortable. Everything was super logically stored and super well thought out. We have a family lake house that we are getting ready to add onto for our expanding crew and I got some really smart user friendly ideas from the whole set up of their lovely home. We really enjoyed every inch of the house from the putt putt under the house to the multiple family friendly screened in porch areas. And the location! So close to the beautiful never over crowded beach! Plenty of seating and kitchen stuff. If you don’t want to go out to eat you are going to find everything you could possibly need in this house and more! The fenced in yard was money for our dogs. And with their cool sliding door access to the festive yet practical area under the house I always felt like they were safe. So many things that are clearly there for their own family of varied ages that they share with their summer guests!!This year we were an all adult crew but our daughter is 8 months pregnant so we were checking out all of the things they have to offer a familywith babies and young children and they had it all and then some. They even had a very nice mattress to put inside the pack and play bed to make things more cozy for a baby to sleep on. I am sure I left off several really cool things that we all loved about the Stella Blue but that’s bc there are to many to keep track of!

The house is amazing! It is spacious and has everything you can think of. It was very clean and very well organized.The location is ideal! It is a very short walk to the beach access, and the golf cart is available to make it even more convenient. There were 14 of us, raging, in age from 4 years old to 80 years old. We never felt crowded, and there was something for everyone to do in the house, from the pool table, to the video games, and the pool outside. We loved having TVs in all of the rooms, and we can’t say enough about the two refrigerators and two washers and dryers. The parking was also a bonus, as we had six cars with us. Even with all of our clothing, beach items, and everything else we brought along, we still had plenty of space in and outside of the house. Additionally, anytime we had any concerns or questions, we received a very quick and helpful response. I would highly recommend this house to someone looking for the perfect place in Nags Head!

We booked this stay for our entire family as we were going to be in the area for a wedding. The house was spotless when we arrived - very clean and organized. It was very spacious and had enough room for our family and everyone was able to have their own space. It was perfect having a game room downstairs, as everyone was able to socialize at their leisure whether they wanted to sit upstairs and talk or head downstairs for some pool and foosball. Parking was a breeze - there was plenty of space to pull in/out of the driveway and not get blocked in. The location was excellent and a lot of people chose to visit the Wright Brothers Memorial and Jockey Ridge. I would 1000% recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Barbara's house is amazing! It is so close to the beach, and the house is even better in person! She was great with communication and made sure I had everything I needed. We loved going to the beach and hanging by the pool on sunny days, and when it rained the house has a large hot tub, pool table, foosball table, and many games and puzzles. Barbara also has lots of beach chairs, carts, coolers, umbrellas, and beach games, which we really appreciated! My group cooked in most of our stay, and the kitchen is more than stocked with everything we needed to make large group meals. I highly recommend staying here!
