This is a great place to stay and the place is very clean. Stephanie & DJ made my 2 week trip very memorable. I met both Stephanie & DJ in person a few times and they are very professional, very friendly, very accommodating, very good human beings, very helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need. You can see why they are Superhosts. What they described in the photo and listing is what you will get. Also, great communication and you can tell that Stephanie & DJ cares a lot about your stay and comfort. They also have a white noise machine and Roku TV. The bathroom is clean and the bed is comfy. They would also provide you with water bottles and snacks. I originally had to cancel my booking because of the baseball strike and was going to moved it to another day but then I found out that I can still make my original booking date. Stephanie and DJ were flexible and allowed me to book the new dates but after I told them that I can still make my original date, they let me book my original dates back. I originally was worried about my safety before I got here but after I got here, I felt very safe and this is a safe neighborhood. Also, it's convenient for taking the bus or ubering downtown and other places and it's not that far from downtown. This place is better than a hotel room. Also, DJ is renovate the building behind this one and he's very talented at it. I see that he's trying to make a difference in this community and I wish him the best at it. If I can give Stephanie & DJ more than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommended. I will book with Stephanie & DJ again if I come back to St. Louis and if they have the dates avaliable that I'm planning on staying.

What a great trip! Our family just came back from a two day trip to stay at this Innsbrook Chalet and we were more than impressed! Erika was wonderful to work with. It started with her kindly sending me an e-mail the morning of our arrival that the property had been cleaned early and we could check in anytime before the 3:00 pm check-in. We were able to get there by noon so it almost felt like we had an extra day. No other property owner had done that before so it was a very thoughtful and meaningful thing to do. As soon as we arrived, we were stunned by the beauty of the location, area, trees, water, and chalet. It was such a cute and charming chalet and it felt very intimate and cozy. The chalet itself has been updated and everything feels very new and clean. We were highly impressed. We walked down to the lake and it was just gorgeous. This is not a lake that is connected to the main lake so it's almost a small personal lake with 6 or 7 chalets around it. When we stayed there, there were no other people at the other chalets but we stayed during the week so I am guessing it's probably busier on a weekend. The private "beach" was so much fun for my son and we loved taking the paddleboat around the lake over and over again... We enjoyed a hike through the woods as well as many fires roasting hot dogs and s'mores. It was the perfect combination for people that like being outdoors but also a clean and comfortable place to sleep once they return. The chalet was incredibly spacious. You could easily fit two families and the loft area upstairs was great for kids. I was so happy to see all of the special things they added to make the stay more comfortable...kids toys, movies, games, etc. They really had thought of everything. We were so glad we got a chance to stay at this property and can't wait to go back again. We have discovered our favorite Innsbrook gem! Thanks Erika!

Stephanie and DJ were communicative and helpful. Easy check in, immaculate clean space, and they had coffee, some snacks, toiletries etc. It is a very cute building and well decorated. 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from downtown so the location is very convenient Two notes that I think you should know before booking: 1. the bathroom has a curtain instead of a lockable door separating it from the bedroom/living space. If you’re staying there with someone, make sure it’s someone you’re comfortable with because there is less privacy than one would normally expect 2. The neighborhood is actively being revitalized, so when you’re driving to the space it has a bit of a run down appearance. I did not feel unsafe, but it is not a neighborhood that I would want to go walking around for the scenery Neither of the above things would prevent me from booking this space again, but I think it is good to know in advance of booking

We booked this property (and the house next door) for a 10 year reunion of 17 high school friends. I can not say enough great things about my experience booking with Stephanie! She answered all of my questions promptly and fully and provided very detailed instructions about the home's amenities and location. The pictures of the place do not do it justice! It was extremely clean and adorably decorated. We rented this property along with the house next door with 9 people rooming in this house: 3 couples with their own room and another room with 3 people. We could have slept a few more people without any issue, but with only 2 bathrooms we preferred to not fill the house to capacity. The bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, blender, Keurig, and even cute mason jars with lids and straws for making drinks. Stephanie also provided large bins with beach towels, flip flops, and coozies for guests to use. There were also plenty of books and board games. By far, the biggest perk of this property is the outdoor patio and dock. There is an outdoor bar area with an outdoor refrigerator and a large patio furniture set. There is a propane grill that is underneath the second story deck so we were able to grill out even though we had some rain. The dock has plenty of chairs, inflatables and a rope swing. The location of this house is great. There is a supermarket only 10 minutes away that allowed us to stock up on whatever we needed. We had planned to water taxi to some of the nearby nightlife, but we ended up staying put at the house because we were having such a great time!

We went for Memorial Day weekend and had an absolutely amazing stay. The home is so welcoming. We had 2 adults and 8 kids. We used the air mattress at the house and had ample room for everyone to comfortably sleep. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need to cook! Even a crock pot! We brought paper plates and cups, but there were plenty of dishes for everyone had we used their dishes and silverware. Beach towels and bath towels were supplied and we would wash them in the laundry room when needed. The dock was absolutely amazing. The owners allow use of their kayak and paddle board, which was an absolute blast. We brought a boat and kept it in the dock and used the lift as well. The slide was a hit with the kids. The cove is perfect and peaceful. We used the fire pit one night to make s'mores. We had just a perfect weekend and would highly recommend this property! Dogs are allowed, although I decided to leave mine at home at the last minute.

Our stay at Horizon Hideway and Merv as a host were both exceptional. The property is expansive and beautiful. Your view looks out over hills and trees with a view of the lake below. The farm setting is complete with pasture, barns and cows mooing over the fence! It is so open and peaceful we felt relaxed just pulling onto the property! The pleasure continues inside the house. It is open, clean and appropriately decorated…we wanted to move in! Merv thought of every amenity you could need and then some! We had one question while we were there and Merv responded immediately and handled our question with a suggestion that solved it simply! If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area we highly recommend this property! It is beautiful, comfortable, clean and though very convenient to Shell Knob grocery store and the marinas, it feels like you’re in a different world!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sadie's. The house it so cute and comfortable. HUGE backyard to play in! Plenty of cabinet and counter space to use if you need to cook. A countertop ice maker!! That was so needed! Never would have thought that would be included. The weather was beautiful, and I appreciated the ability to open the windows and let in the crisp cool air. The thermostat was really easy to adjust too. The beds were very comfortable. Nice closets with hangers supplied. Plent of electrical outlets for charging. Games to play!! Grocery only 4 blocks away. Easy access to highways. Very easy drive to the stadiums. The neighborhood has some very colorful houses. I got a text every day to see if there was anything I needed. All in all the listing was spot-on accurate. Would gladly stay again!

My family stayed here for a month while my husband was working. We have two kids, and two labs with us and this cute house was perfect!!! Very comfortable and Clean! The pictures don’t really do it justice. The master bedroom and e tea living room area is downstairs in the basement that’s gorgeous! Fenced little yard that was perfect for our dogs! And a hot tub the kids loved! Also the house is on a cul-de-sac and the neighbors are all so nice!!! There’s lots of kids which was great! It’s a very cute , safe, quiet, peaceful neighborhood! Lots of bunnies that my kids loved seeing everyday roaming around! And there’s an elementary school RIGHT behind this neighborhood, it has a sidewalk that leads to the back of the school and the playground is public (atleast it is right now since it’s summer!) and it is insane! I’ve never seen a playground at a school like this one! We walked there every day! Also everything is so close! The furthest we drove was 25 min. We loved our stay here!!!!
