Just what we needed! We had a wonderful two-night stay here, and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was super cosy, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax after spending long, hot days at the beach. We bumped into Rebecca and James one evening, and they’re such a lovely, welcoming family. We made good use of the BBQ, but just a heads-up - you’ll need to bring your own charcoal. I’d also recommend doing your food shopping before you arrive, as the local shops are a little journey away. Nearby beaches: * Westward Ho! and Instow are both around 20–25 minutes away and are well worth a visit. * Before check-in on our first day, we spent the day at Woolacombe Beach, which is about an hour’s drive away. It was our favourite beach, especially for the kids. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Sam’s house was beautiful and perfect in every way. It’s located within a 5 minute walk from the centre and 10 minute walk from the harbour with lots to do and places to eat. It’s also ideally located for traveling to the surrounding areas like Croyde, Woolacombe etc. It was incredibly peaceful and whilst it’s located close to all amenities, it’s also tucked away. The views from the living room overlooking the sea at sunset and sunrise are stunning. It made us feel quite spoilt to have this. The home is very spacious with a very comfortable king size bed, large kitchen, comfortable living and dining area along with a private outside area. It was spotless throughout the property and Sam was a very courteous and responsive host. We would strongly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ilfracombe or the surrounding areas.

First off, this was one of the best airbnbs I have stayed at. Clean, great location, spacious, comfortable - I cannot say enough good things. Hence I rated it 5 stars. Let me elaborate: 1. If the weather is good, you will see an amazing sunset over Tintagel. If you look closely, you can see Arthur’s sculpture on the hill silhouetted against the evening sky when all the people have left. 2. Really close to the village so getting groceries or walking to the castle is easy. 3. Very easy parking. 4. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Couple of things to note: 1. The internet in the bedrooms is spotty. I had trouble with zoom. If you need a stable connnection, the dining area is the best. 2. No washing machine tablets.They did have dishwashing pods so I thought a couple of washing machine pods would be logical. Not a huge deal, but something to know. 3. The uninterrupted view is interrupted by cars parked in front of the window. The upstairs would be better for a great view.

Lovely place to stay. The accommodation was faultless and private. Little challenging to find at first but couldn’t fault anything. You need a car to get anywhere but I knew that when booking so no problem at all. Would 100% recommend. Little extras were appreciated - washing up liquid, dish washer capsules, wine, biscuits etc. Great touch.

We have had a great time at this property. Everything looks like on the pictures, it’s super clean and fully equipped. Very good communication with host, he responded for our messeges quickly and helpfully. Strongly recommended and hope to be back there☺️ thanks a lot and best wishes for you!!!!

Highly Recommend! We stayed here with our 3 children aged 6-17. It was perfect! Incredible views, spotlessly clean, modern, private, safe, everything we wanted. Hosts were great, responsive and couldn’t do enough to make us get the best out of our stay. Thank you so much Vay-Cays, we will definitely be returning!

Generally the place was awesome, I liked that it was peaceful and host was responsive. it was ean and just as explained on the platform and as shown in the photos. The restaurant was closed which made it a bit difficult to access breakfast but all in all the place is worthy every penny
