The Hotel Peace & Plenty has a long history dating back to the 1700’s. It changed hands in 2017, and the new owners wanted to preserve the rich heritage of the building.The hotel’s restaurant reopened in December 2017, with an amazing Italian Restaurant, whose proprietors are from Milan.

"Plus 39 Italian Restaurant and Lounge", offers local cuisine including grits with breakfast and conch burgers for lunch, as well as a dinner menu that ranges from Italian fare, to steak to seafood, including grouper, as well as some wonderful Italian dishes, like spaghetti bolognese, prepared by Chef Mattia, with many of the ingredients being imported from Italy.

There are lots of specialty nights, such as Asian Night, Indian Night, Taco Tuesdays, and Jazz & Meatballs Night.

The Club offers two bars. The 'Pool Deck’ bar, a fun place to have afternoon or evening drinks and look at the beautiful azure water, as well as an inside bar. This 200 year old room, that was originally a “ Slave Kitchen”, has lots of history, and is still tended by Lerman “ Doc” Rolle on Tuesday nights. Doc has been a bartender at the Peace and Plenty Hotel for 50 years.
