Things to do in Portsmouth
There's so much to do right here in Portsmouth within a 15 minute drive for days you don't feel like fighting traffic or crowds. Localz is a great neighborhood restaurant just a short walk away from the house. They have delicious 3 course specials for $17 on Wednesday nights! They have great, fresh seafood. We sometimes just sit out on the scenic patio on weekend afternoons for cocktails and appetizers. They also have excellent curb side takeout service.

Flo's Clam Shack- Portsmouth, Rhode Island
Flo's is a 10 minute walk (about 1/2 mile west of the house) across from Island Park Beach. It has the best fried clams and clamcakes we've ever had! They also have great lobster rolls. You can either eat them there at the picnic tables or we prefer to take them home and eat them on our own deck at the house.
