Snowshoe vacation rentals

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay for a summer mountain biking trip. There were ample beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms for our large group. We cooked almost all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and it was large enough so that multiple meals could be prepared simultaneously. The upper living area was great to relax in and had a great view. The lower living area was super as it allowed the late night part of our crew to hang out into the wee hours without disturbing the rest of the group. We spent a ton of time on the deck enjoying the view. We used the on demand shuttle to quickly get to the village in the evenings, while using the road to get there by bike during the day. Tip for intermediate+ mountain bikers: Get your lift pass before you check in, then you can ride directly to Skyline and down, and then take the lift directly up to the village and basin trails. In summary, a great place with ample space for a large group in a super location. We’ll be back!

This was our first time using VRBO, and this property set the bar high for future stays! The owners anticipated all of our needs and more. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The only issue we had was with check-in. We were supposed to receive the door code a few hours prior to our 4:00PM check-in. As we got closer to Snowshoe, my cell service disappeared before I received the code. We arrived at the property during a torrential downpour (still with no cell service), where I was able to log in to the WiFi while sitting on the covered porch. I sent a message to the property manager who responded within 10 minutes. On a side note, while waiting for the reply, we went to The Pizza Slice for dinner & would highly recommend it. (On another side note, we found out why there’s no cell service. This area is an intentional quiet zone due to the nearby Greenbank Telescope.)

We had a great time here! The space was clean and had amazing slope access. You are literally right in front of the skidder chair. We had our kids with us and they seemed comfortable on the pull out couch. There was linens, blankets, and pillows that were easily accessible. Chris and Alison did a great job sending clear check in info and lots of extra details about the resort area. The unit is not as updated as some others we have stayed at but again you can’t beat the location. Thanks for having us!!!

Let me start by saying I am what most would call a “perfectionist”. Timbers 5 is everything the listing states. It is clean, well stocked, well kept, has great furnishings and appliances. I am the mom/wife who cleans each place my family stays before we ever unpack. While I still took the time to do this, I was pleasantly surprised while doing so. Timbers 5 was very inviting! Only a little trouble with entry as there are two keypads, but we were answered quickly with an email to the host. A few minor issues with lights, but not enough of an issue to give our stay at Timbers 5 any less than 5 stars. Courtesy shuttle to and from the village made it all the more convenient! My family and I had a great time and will definitely make Timbers 5 our “go to” for any future stays at Snowshoe!

If you wish to stay in the heart of the village at Snowshoe, this is the ideal place. Highland House is located directly in the middle of the everything. We were able to walk to all attractions. Having to visit a second location to check-in was not ideal, but with the online guidebook provided prior to our stay, I was able to easily navigate that process.

We were so pleased with our unit, location and value! Such a nice surprise that the great pictures in the ad didn’t even do justice to the size and luxurious feel of the place. We will be back!!

Great location in between the village and top of the world. Prompt shuttle service just a few steps from the front door. The Flume bar is just behind the house. You could, in theory, ski out from this location. Easy check in and out. Clean house with great accoutrements. The mountain to the north and south within a very, very short driving distance has tons of food and ski shops. I would stay here again. Thank you!!!

Super easy walk through the building to get to the slopes. Being on the first floor was a nice bonus and made check-in and check-out very easy. The place was clean and the wifi worked great. The kitchen is small but has the basics. We did some light cooking and ate out for dinners which worked out well for us.
