I live in the city of Musanze in a quiet residential neighborhood, but sometimes I feel the desire to be surrounded by nature. Munezero’s chalet in Kinigi is the perfect place for those who want a peaceful spot in nature, right at the foot of the Virunga National Park. I reached it after an hour-long bike ride from Musanze, traveling along a beautiful, quiet road. The view from the veranda overlooks a valley of cultivated fields, and from the large garden, you can see all the volcanoes and the forest. The inside of the chalet is very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic utensils. Munezero had left everything I needed to prepare my breakfast. For dinner, I had contacted Munezero the day before to order takeaway food. I found everything in the fridge easy to heat it up. If you are looking for accommodation that is very close to the park entrance, affordable, comfortable, and peaceful, Terracotta is the ideal place for you.
