We found the house and location better than the pictures online, a testament to the personal style and thoughtful planning and outfitting of a home from kitchen to bedroom to bath to living room--the garage even had 4 bicycles. The outstanding hospitality of the owners Rae-Marie and Tom really made the arrival and ongoing experience particularly special. What accommodating, kind people! Rae-Marie made us feel immediately at home when we arrived: the tour of home and various appliances made a difference to everyone's comfort level and the added touches of flowers in every room, fruit and chocolates and wine, and use of pantry items made our late arrival an easier, softer landing. We'd vacationed in the Princeville/Hanalei area several times before, but Rae-Marie offered so much wonderful detail of the neighborhood, we felt even more at home. She put me in touch with a delightful woman to do childcare one night as well. Owners who treat you like company or friends and respect your time and vacation experience are rarer finds than a beautiful house. But beautiful and comfortable house it is! The house's 180-degree spectacular views and spaciousness and comfortable furnishings were particularly welcome with wetter weather than usual this April. We could still enjoy the beauty of the mountains and ocean and landscaping without ever leaving the house. The hot tub and pool made everyone's outdoor needs easier on erratic sun and showers and windier days. Unfortunately due to too wet and muddy hillside, we'll have to save exploring the beautiful semi-private beach below the house next time. Honu Point is the perfect place to enjoy a family vacation or a special occasion with friends! Mahalo and we'll be back! So incredibly grateful to have found this home in Princeville! My (new) husband and I had an idea a year ago to bring our blended family together for a "family-moon"/week in Paradise and this house was the perfect fit for our large group of 10 plus our (barely) 6 month old grandson! Personally, I'm the kind of person that likes my space/quiet time and this layout was ideal. Our Master Suite had huge picture windows and views that were so peaceful to fall asleep and wake up to. The home is also well appointed with recently installed air conditioning, gourmet kitchen and breathtaking ocean views from the large great room. It was everything my husband and I hoped for on this trip, and more! This home is the ideal setting for a large family or group, with Smart TV's throughout to enjoy Netflix, etc. Large deck is great for dining, and has a barbecue and space to chill and catch some rays. Set in an upscale and quiet neighborhood with paved streets, it's great for walks or running and is close to some good beaches and hiking spots. It's also within walking distance to the St. Regis Resort. Can't say enough good things about this house, and the lovely lady I dealt with during this entire process, owner Tammy Russel-Rice. From beginning to end she was responsive, thoughtful and extremely helpful providing answers to any questions I had. I also was in touch with the property's Island Host during my stay, and she too was was responsive and helpful. Words cannot express how grateful I am that we found this home to make some great family memories in. If you're planning a trip for a large group to Kauai, this is your spot.

We stayed in Laura’s house for a week with our 2-year old daughter, my parents, and my brother and his wife and we had the most amazing time. The house is very spacious, comfortable, and stocked full of anything you need! The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking- oils, spices, all the cooking utensils and more than enough dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and we didn’t even need AC because it always cooled off enough at night. The back patio was the best and a great gathering spot to have drinks and listen to all the birds, frogs, and roosters :). It was paradise! All the beach toys available for use in the garage were also amazing. Anything we needed for the beach was there - umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys for our daughter, boogie boards, snorkel gear, you name it. The location was perfect - in a quiet neighborhood near a golf course, half a mile to queens bath, and less than a mile walk to the shops, farmers market, and playground. They also had 4 bicycles for our use which were super fun to ride around the neighborhood! Don’t miss the opportunity to stay in a beautiful house that will make your stay in Kauai worth while!

This unit is very well decorated, clean, and has the most amazing view of Hanalei Bay. There is a toaster, kettle, small bar type fridge, dishes for three, cutlery in the drawer and all the little extras you can imagine: two beach chairs, snorkel gear, hiking poles, very comfy king bed. Modern bathroom with plenty of supplies to cover your needs. 2 Onsite restaurants and a little coffee shop that serves a great breakfast burrito. Hosts are great communicators. The resort staff are top notch. We saw families and honeymooners all enjoying the resort. The resort was low key and quiet while we were here. Great for couples and families.

Astounding views! Spacious home so incredibly well-equipped with accessories to enjoy the ocean-rented Shena’s Odyssey van which was good value in great shape (accommodated 5 of us with 6 checked bags) but seats 8- had roof rack to carry SUP/surfboards from garage to beach. Super comfy beds and sofa -decor gave the place a very relaxing beach vibe. AC in BR’s made for great sleep. Kitchen had everything. Shena very responsive to my many questions, and her recs for restaurants/beaches/ hikes were spot-on (loved Postcards and The Terrace). Princeville well manicured golf/tennis community w nice flat walk/bike paths. Perfect contrast Hanalei 10 min away -ultimate surfer beach town w cool vibe. Loved NaPali coast boat ride/snorkel w Hanalei Charters. Rented kayak + used Shena’s SUP to travel Hanalei river -so peaceful! Enjoyed Haena state park -reserve shuttle to park 30 days ahead for access to Ke’e beach and awesome hike w gorgeous views on NaPali. Really enjoyed this trip-thank you!

We truly can’t say enough good things about this incredible place. The views from both the bedroom and living room are absolutely breathtaking — the kind of scenery that stops you in your tracks. We often found ourselves losing track of time just sitting on the lanai, soaking in the panoramic views of Hanalei Bay and the lush mountains. Breakfast out there was pure perfection. The condo itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed, with every amenity thoughtfully provided — from beach chairs, coolers, and snorkel gear to a Brita pitcher and washer/dryer for convenience. It’s the best of both worlds: all the comfort and privacy of a condo, with the full resort experience just steps away. The pools, beach, and common areas are stunning and impeccably maintained, and we loved having easy access to on-site dining and nearby activities. Amir and Maryam were phenomenal hosts — incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive without ever being intrusive. They went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special. Every detail was just right, and their communication was top-notch throughout. We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but this one truly stands out. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the views are second to none. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, don’t hesitate — book it. You’ll never want to stay anywhere else.

Kauai Princeville Family Haven was the perfect house for our stay in Hawaii. Easy and wonderful communication from the moment we reserved. Arrival was easy and the house was ready for our stay. We had everything we needed from beach towels and chairs to plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies. We enjoyed grilling on the Weber grill and cooking for ourselves was easy as there was everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the space and comfort of the home. We appreciated the quiet and established neighborhood. The hot tub was a bonus for the evenings to unwind and relax - especially after hiking the Na Pali coast. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are coming to Kauai. I know we will reserve again on our next visit.

The condo was in great shape and very clean. We picked this one because of proximity to Anini beach. You can walk there, although it is probably 15 minutes down a beautiful, but fairly steep, jungle trail. I wouldn’t want to walk back up that trail more than once a day, and some parts are slippery when wet. The AC in the bedrooms worked well. There isn’t AC in the rest of the condo but we found that with the windows open, the downstairs remained reasonably comfortable during the day since there was almost always a breeze. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Washer/dryer works great and there was some laundry detergent available. The pool is just a short walk and is quite large/deep. It is located right next to the parking lot, so it isn’t quite as pleasant as I expected.
