Idaho vacation rentals

We also have vacation rentals in Washington which keep us busy 7 days a week, so we REALLY needed a getaway. We were captivated by the first photo of this cottage. We've been to Sandpoint a couple of times, but we'd never really looked at this neighborhood. Beautiful older homes that have been renovated and given new life amongst huge century-old trees within a few blocks of the downtown area and the beach immediately brought a sense of serenity and peace to us when we arrived. The cottage was bigger than we needed, but we really wanted to stretch out and relax. The home was spotless, welcoming, and very well stocked. The bed was comfortable (which is hard to find) and the living room furniture actually was the kind you just sink into and never want to get up. However, the claw food tub also called to me. So many things to do, so little time! We spent most of our in-house time sitting on the back porch watching the family of squirrels in the giant willow tree. There were also 2 families of birds just a few feet away in the same tree. The weather was perfect, and we walked to Hydra Steakhouse and had excellent seafood. There's a nice little health food store a block away and we got absolutely wonderful massages at the Medical Massage place which was also only a block away. Would we come back? You bet! We never wanted to leave in the first place!!!

We absolutely loved this house. It has everything you need without being cluttered and overwhelming. SUPER clean. Everything was labeled so we had no problems finding anything. The host was so responsive and friendly. We have 4 young kids and we really appreciated how kid-friendly this place was, with a big comfy couch, soft, comfy throws that our kids loved (and now I think we need to get some of our own), simple yet thoughtful amenities like plastic plates and cups so we didn't have to worry about breaking things, a pack n play and high chair which was perfect for our toddler. The two bathrooms both have detachable shower heads which makes it so easy to bathe the kids, and with a beautiful, gated back yard our kids could play outside worry-free, and TVs in each bedroom and in the living room and on top of that, the price was great. Don't hesitate to stay here. We loved it!

Cannot speak highly enough about The Melanie. Our family of 4 stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our time. We love to travel and this was by far out 5 year old's favorite home. It was clean and very well maintained. We are quite familiar with CDA and the area this is located is near Atlas Waterfront which is one of our favorite places to be. It is so close to downtown but also near more secluded water/walking spots. Thank you for having us!

Ann was extremely communicative through every step of our stay. You can tell she takes pride in her space and cares about her visitors. The unit is conveniently located- two blocks from Ketchum downtown. Easy to leave your car and wander around. Lots of kind, high quality goodies left for us to enjoy upon arrival. While the unit is small, its use of space is smart and the 2 of us never felt cramped. Patio provided nice views and easy access to fresh air. Complex kitty is very friendly and provided a warm welcome. Laundry in complex but not in unit (not a problem for our weekend stay). Great spot for an outing for 2 or solo travel. Don't miss eating at Enoteca!

To say that Micheale and Randy's Silver Bunker House is amazing is an understatement! You can tell that they treat this home as if they live there on a daily basis with all of the thoughtful details and amenities. When we had questions they were extremely quick to answer. Our team needed a place to stay for the Silver Kings off-road event, and the location was so perfect that it was only a 300 foot walk from the home to where our rig was setup. This was just a huge bonus on top of the fact that the home is well kept, clean, organized, and so very comfortable. It's the perfect location to Silver Mountain, many individual bedrooms with ceiling fans, smart tvs along with darkening curtains, high quality toilet paper, soft towels, comfortable beds, and the list goes on with all of the thoughtful details. Just wow! We will most certainly stay again whenever we find ourselves back in the area, and HIGHLY recommend the Silver Bunker House to anyone looking to stay in the area!

What an amazing vacation we experienced in Island Park, ID and all because we found the perfect location in “R Dream Cabin” with the most outstanding hosts, Suzette & Monty!!! If you are considering this cabin for your trip to Yellowstone, you can’t go wrong! It is located about 30 minutes from the West Entrance to the park making it super convenient. Suzette sent us all the information we could ever hope for regarding local restaurants, sights to see while in the area, distances to Yellowstone attractions and general Island Park info. We arrived to find a beautiful welcome basket full of perfectly selected goodies that instantly put a smile on everyone’s faces after a long day of travel! Suzette took the time to select special local treats and activity books for our 10 year old daughter as well as fun Idaho souvenirs and even a bottle of Huckleberry wine to toast our arrival! Then we found another basket filled with s’mores goodies to use by the fire pit (to our daughter’s delight)! The attention to detail in this cabin is second to none! We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this cabin FAR SURPASSED our previous experiences. Everything is brand new, the kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, the cabin is beautifully decorated & there is even a jacuzzi on the back deck! We will always remember this trip fondly because of the amazing time we had! Just another quick testament to how fantastic Suzette and Monty are...they offered to take us on a sunset ride to the continental divide on our first evening there. We happily accepted and it ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip! We saw a family of Moose and got to watch the sunset from what felt like the top of the world. We hope we will get to come back one day, and if we do, there is no doubt where we will be staying!!! Thank you for the trip of a lifetime, Suzette & Monty! Hugs to you both!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! I appreciated the cleanliness as we had 3 generations there including a baby who finds anything that isn’t clean. I appreciated the pack n play and booster seat for my daughter as well. My parents kept saying it was so peaceful to be there - the location is secluded but also only 45 minutes from Yellowstone where we spent a full day without too much extra driving. It was nice to get away from normal life and relax. We enjoyed a fire one night, and were in the hot tub 1-3x daily. We watched movies, played the connect 4, and enjoyed walking around. We also appreciated the kitchen, very well stocked including random things like a cheese slicer so I didn’t have to use the one I brought. Host was easy to work with and responsive to the couple questions we had, we will 100% be back and would love to see this place in the snow too!

Beautiful condo with great views. Plenty of space and very functional. We would definitely stay again and strongly recommend!
