Corolla vacation rentals

We only stayed at Melissa’s place Tues-Sat, so with 3 full days we tried to do as much as possible! ***10/10 stars*** The house: stocked kitchen for cooking, comfortable bedding & sectional sofa, plenty of linens provided, great open floor plan with functional space for games, puzzles, remote working, family meals. The outside space: great front porch with rocking chairs- perfect for our cocktail hour. The back porch is equally perfect. We grilled and ate dinner al fresco most nights on the back porch. Our beagle napped most days on the fenced in porch! He’s a big fan of the shaded and breezy porch. The pool is the perfect sized back yard pool, and we had fun battling each other in pool basketball and relaxing on floats. The hot tub was clean and refreshing. We must have looked so relaxed as neighbors saw us having fun and said they were jealous because their house didn’t have a hot tub:) Garage is stocked with floats, bikes, foosball, ping pong, games…. The community has plenty of activities. We enjoyed the trolley rides, not only for the shuttle service but also to see the community. The drivers were friendly and helpful, quick to jump out and assist with loading and unloading beach gear. The trolley stop is so convenient to the house and the trolleys stop frequently. Three community pools! The snack bar at the beach trolley stop was perfect for grab and go! Melissa is a great host, informative and communicative! Overall fantastic stay- house, host, community!!

With the 4x4 Corolla beach access only 1 mile away from the condo, we were so fortunate to see quite a few horses on the beach, which had been on our bucket list for many years. The sunrises and sunsets are also so easy to walk to from the condo (as well as some great food and shopping next door). The 2 story layout and good size of the condo is perfect for multiple families or friends and it was in outstanding condition (seemed practically brand new). Our hosts had everything there that you'd want in your home. We spent time at the Whalehead Museum and Currituck Lighthouse right next door, which we'd highly recommend to others. The heated community pool and seating/lounging area were amazing, with lots of room to spread out. Cabanas were available for rent if you prefer full shade and extra amenities. We can't wait to come back again, and would pick SunRise 'n Shine for sure!

This was an excellent vacation from booking through departure. Location is excellent - easy walk to the beach. Quick drive/bike to shopping. The home was warm and inviting - perfect for our family. Pool and outdoor areas were well thought and very nice. It is apparent the owner put thought and work into making the home excellent for guests. The owner was also very responsive to communication and engaged— just the right amount. Highly recommend!

My family really enjoyed our stay! The house was really well stocked. It was nice to have access to beach items and flashlights to take our kids crabbing. It was nicely renovated and perfect beach decor. The outdoor furniture on the deck was so nice and I enjoyed the color flowers in the planters. The bedroom upstairs has a really firm bed. We slept on it the first night and were uncomfortable but were able to move to another bed for the rest of our stay. It was so nice to have fans in each room! And the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more! We packed with intention of doing laundry, but the house directions request only doing laundry if an emergency because of the community septic situation. So I would keep that in mind while packing + if you have small kids! Thankfully we managed, but it would have been good to know before arrival. We would recommend staying here and are thankful for the memories we made in this home and this beach!

Molly’s Place was amazing! Molly was easy to communicate with, gave timely information about her home, and very responsive to the few questions I had. The entire house was spotless. The beds were very comfy! I have never stayed in an Airbnb with so many thoughtful extras! From all the amenities provided (I don't think I have ever seen a better-prepared and -supplied home), to labels/great instructions throughout the house, to the perfect bubble bath tub with jets to ease your sore muscles from a day of doing touristy stuff! Our stay was fabulous and we were pretty bummed when we had to move on to our next Airbnb in Nags Head to stay with a larger group as we were quite certain that we were spoiled at Molly's place and would have nowhere near the accommodations there as we did at Molly's! As suspected, the other place was a let down! We highly recommend Molly and her house - you won’t be disappointed! In fact, you will be quite happy that you chose her home away from home!

The wife and I had the opportunity to have a free weekend away from the little one and after a quick search we found Lil’Nauti. It was the perfect choice for us. Everything was new and nice. Had everything we needed without having more. We will definitely stay there again. Hope for better weather next to wake up to horses. Markings were EVERYWHERE in the yard. Also the hosts are amazing. Answered quick and easy to communicate with. The thing we appreciated most and know they cant afford everyone this luxury but the weather was so bad the beach was impassable until dead low tide on checkout day. With no one renting the next day the owners allowed us to stay until the beach was passable. Cant say thanks enough for that! Great place with great owners book with confidence.

We first visited Corolla light resort in 2016, we immediately fell in love with it. We loved everything about the resort, it’s such a great family community, park, pools, private beach access, basketball courts, even a family movie night. I told my husband I want to come here again. We decided to look at a different house and found happy daze, it is close to the beach access, pools, park and even has it own private pool. I feel even more in love, we first rented happy daze in 2017, then again in 2018 and 2019. We had it booked in 2020, but covid happened. We rebooked on 2021 and just returned home from our week. The house is perfect, it has everything you could want and more. It’s such a nice surprise to return every year to see the renovations. They are never done, they love surprising their repeat guest! They truly love happy daze and their guest. I had the pleasure of speaking with Kelly and she is so sweet, caring and kind. I feel so lucky that we found Corolla light resort and then happy daze! I hope this is a vacation we continue to take. I am watching my kids grow up there now. I love that we have a week and as we are there I have my Facebook show me memories of our past visits. The house, the resort and the happy daze owners are simply the best! Thank you for allowing us to make memories!

Our family enjoyed a perfectly fantastic week staying at the beautiful Salty Treat oceanfront home in the Pine Island section of Corolla, NC. The recently renovated home is magnificent both inside and outside. The furnishings are very attractive and comfortable. Each bedroom looks terrific and the mattresses are so comfortable. The great room/kitchen/dining room area is designed for enjoyment by a large family and the area looks so pretty. There are multiply indoor electronic games and a very popular pool/billiards table. The views are spectacular. The private beach area is just steps away, and if diving into cool waves is not your thing, the refreshing private pool is right outside your door. The owners thought of everything with beach chairs, beach and pool games, a hot tub and relaxing poolside chairs. Salty Treat is aptly named. A great stay for all ages.
