Al Qasr Villa, absolutely stunning! It’s everything it says it is and more. Tranquility and privacy are the order of the day at Al Qasr villa. Stunning mountain vistas greet you from every corner, balcony, seating area, living area and terrace. Enjoy a fruit juice and pastry on the terrace with all round views early morning. Maybe take a swim in the secluded infinity pool followed by a coffee in the Moorish-style courtyard while the water fountain burbles serenely. The pool dining area with its own ample cover to provide shade is the perfect spot for lunch. Early evening we’d have pre-dinner drinks sat overlooking the pool under shade provided by awnings. We loved the evenings watching the sun go down in the seating area that offers the perfect vantage point by the outdoor kitchen. After sundown and a BBQ in the outdoor kitchen the mood would set to chill with wine, nibbles and ambience aided by an amazing array of outdoor lighting. Whatever you do, there’s plenty to enjoy at Al Qasr villa, it’s ample and luxurious grounds offer many possibilities, soak in your surroundings and lose yourself in this corner of Torréon de Cabrera, we did and it was amazing! The villa is superbly equipped both inside and out, we didn’t want for anything. The outdoor kitchen is unique and is equally equipped as the indoor one, including a fridge and dishwasher! The quality of the furnishes, bedding and towels is second to none. Last but not least let’s mention Jane, your host in Spain who is amazing, nothing is too much trouble and she has local knowledge in an abundance to help you. Finally, Thankyou Lynn for letting us enjoy your perfect Spanish home and staying in touch at all times from booking to returning home. It really made us feel confident about our booking. The bottle of fizz on arrival was very much appreciated and enjoyed, Thankyou.

Wir waren zu Dritt (mit 10-monatigem Baby) einen ganzen Monat in dem Haus. Die Kommunikation vorab war sehr schnell und unkompliziert, obwohl ich einige Fragen hatte, was den Aufenthalt mit Baby anging. Manuels Eltern hatten bei unserer Ankunft schon alles vorbereiten und sogar 2 Babybetten (eins auf jeder Etage) aufgebaut, sodass wir uns gleich wohlfühlen konnten. Manuels Eltern waren die ersten und letzten Tage in der Nähe und haben uns mit allen Fragen ganz schnell geholfen und einige Empfehlungen gegeben. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir haben im Haus alles gefunden, was wir brauchen. Es ist nicht nur hübsch eingerichtet, sondern auch praktisch, was bei einem langen Aufenthalt sehr wichtig ist! Ich würde unbedingt ein Auto empfehlen, wobei man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß am Strand ist und mit dem Fahrrad auch in wenigen Minuten bei verschiedenen Supermärkten (Mercadona, Consum, Lidl). Für den Besuch am Strand war auch alles vor Ort (Sonnenschirm, Strandhandtücher, Klappstühle, Schnorchelbrille,...) Im Oktober ist die Saison in Puerto Rey schon zu Ende. Die Hotels und Restaurants haben geschlossen. Dafür hat man den Strand quasi für sich. Der Strand ist sehr schön und mit feinem Sand. Wir waren jeden Tag dort. Das Wetter war dauerhaft sehr schön (sonnig und >25°). In den anderen Orten/Stadtteilen ist noch alles geöffnet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!
