Huntsville vacation rentals

The home is a jewel, and the tasteful upgrades really are nice. We loved the stay, and will stay again when we're in town: our son has a small cottage a few blocks east, so it was so convenient to restaurants and everything. We loved the wonderful mix of classic and new (the kitchen and bathroom fittings for example, and the old room keys!). It's just beautiful inside, and it was a cozy place for us to have the kids visit Sunday afternoon and celebrate Christmas. Our small dog went for walks outside and she loved the large clover-like ferns we walked through and all the greenery, so unlike many hotels. The furniture was comfy, and the front bedroom bed was just luxurious! Sam & Stephanie were just wonderful to set us up on short notice, too! We hope to stay again every time we visit Decatur. The combination of historic architecture, simple elegance and comfort, and excellent price-point make this a wonderful option to hotels where it's more difficult to bring our family dog. Highly recommended, just bring your luggage and anything with which you'd stock the refrigerator. Sam & Stephanie have taken care of the rest.

Michele's home was the perfect place for us, the location was great and we had everything we needed. Communication was excellent, too. We will definitely be back.

Who else would let you stay in a sparkling clean house with three large Ish dogs? Stephanie! We so appreciated the ability to stay for two nights in a sparkling clean house, with comfortable beds, and the best kitchen of any Airbnb I have ever rented. Stephanie was a great communicator, even going out of her way to text us explaining the mini split remote, because we arrived during an unusually strange weather period in March when we needed both heat and air-conditioning. I would not hesitate to stay here again. For those who might be slightly fussy, the neighborhood is mixed commercial and residential. I think this is pretty clear from Stephanie’s Airbnb ad. Once you are inside the house, you don’t hear a sound. There are thick curtains and mini blinds on all the windows, lots of privacy, and a large television in every room. Thank you so much for being a great host, Stephanie!

The house was clean and just as advertised. I had no issue with access or contacting the host. wonderful quiet neighborhood very close to plenty of stuff to do.

It was very spacious for our group (1 adult and 3 children) and our active black lab. I’m so grateful we could bring our dog, and the yard gave her so much space to run around off leash and get her energy out. The fence is tall and allows for privacy in. I appreciated the floodlight in the back when taking our dog out at night. There is also a motion-detecting light in the driveway that was helpful at night when coming or going, or taking out the trash. We were in town to see my niece perform at the Princess Theater. My sisters and their little ones were able to stop by at different times to visit. We had plenty of room to relax and chat, watch a movie together, and the kids loved the swing set. Everyone commented on what a great place this was. My sister said she needed me to help them find their next Airbnb because she had bad luck (hers was cramped, had roaches, and a strong mildew smell). Ours was spacious, clean, with the softest pillows and mattresses. We plan to come back!
