Recently, our local newspaper shared a beautiful article about Friedenswald. We feel so honored that Tina chose to tell our story—and so grateful for the care she put into it.
Hosting is about so much more than providing a place to sleep. We love meeting people from near and far and welcoming them into this little corner of the world that means so much to us.
Our story is still being written—and yours is too.
Our prayer is that Friedenswald can become a small part of your story. A place where you can step away from the hurry, take a deep breath, and simply rest.
It is so easy to get caught up in everyday life. We move from one task to the next and sometimes forget to pause. We forget to slow down and truly enjoy the people beside us—whether they are family, longtime friends, or someone we are just getting to know.
That is why we love opening our doors.
We hope this can be a place where you reconnect, laugh together, wander through the woods, sit around a fire, or enjoy a quiet cup of coffee without rushing off to the next thing.
If your travels bring you to Wisconsin, our doors are open. Come for a weekend or stay for a week. Take a breath, slow down, and make a few memories with the people you love.
