WHERE TO RENT A BOAT?
Some of the marinas we recommend are:

There are many other boat rentals around the lake. If you like the place you rented from please let us know so we can add it to the list. If you wouldn't recommend your boat rental place let us know and we will start a stay away from these places list.
WHAT SIZE BOAT SHOULD I GET?
We recommend renting a 21 foot boat. While our boat house can technically house up to a 25 foot boat it takes a skilled boats man on a calm day to squeeze a boat that large in. A 21 foot boat will comfortably fit 10 people. We do have a second spot where you can dock a boat. The mooring whips will only hold a smaller boat like a whaler (great for fishing).
WHAT ABOUT JET SKIS AND OTHER WATER TOYS?
You can absolutely dock jet skis at the house. You can park up to 2 jet skis instead of a boat in either boat spot. Many of our guests opt to rent a 21 foot boat and 2 jet skis. We provide 2 kayaks for your enjoyment and there are paddleboards for rent in town.
DO I NEED A BOATING LICENSE?
Yes! The state of New Hampshire requires that anyone driving a boat have a New Hampshire boating license. Wherever you rent your boat from will offer you the test up to 24 hours before your rental starts. It is valid for 2 weeks. If you come to Lake Winnipesaukee often you may consider taking a boating class to have a boat license and forgo taking a test every time you head to the lake.
