South Nags Head beaches are not crowded and perfect for family relaxation yet still close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and local attractions. Very near the Bodie Island Lighthouse, the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island, 4X4 beaches. Take a morning walk, jog or bike ride on the wide paved path behind the house that is separate from the main road.

For the fishermen in your family, you are close to the Oregon inlet fishing center, OBX pier and Jeanette’s pier. If you fish from the beach there is a fish cleaning station for your convenience outside of the house.

Why we chose South Nags Head: Our family has been coming to the outer banks for many years and South Nags Head is our favorite location. We love it so much for it’s quiet beaches and convenience. Many years we have watched turtles hatch and make their journey to the ocean. We married on the beach here in South Nags Head and thought it was only fitting that we buy a special place of our own.
