This is our list of places we have not yet ventured to visit, but we have consistently heard great things about them. These are the opinions of some of our fellow foodies and Cape May fans. If you give them a try, let us know what you think!
Primal - (byob) amazing steaks. The menu looks pricey, but a large garden salad and dessert are included with an entrée, so it evens out. Now, reservations are difficult the- usually need to be made 9 days in advance, but they do sometimes have walk-ins available, and the bar seating is first-come-first-served.
Maison Bleue - (byob) excellent French bistro. If you can get there for the early bird special before 530, it’s worth it. It’s a prix fixe menu.
Shamone - (byob) tapas style restaurant where the menu changes daily and they have an incredible brunch
Vintage - (byob) at the Physic Estate. Semi-outdoor restaurant great brunch, as well as a nice menu where I like to order a few different small plates and share.
Peter Shields Inn (BYOB. They were obtaining a liquor license, but I’m not sure if they got one yet, you might want to check.) excellent food. Fine dining. A little pricey, but very nice for a special occasion.
