Rhode Island vacation rentals

I just returned from my stay here and it was amazing! It’s walking distance to the beach and town. We arrived on the later side and check in was very easy and quick. This was the perfect charming cottage for a quick getaway and I will definitely be back!

We stayed here for one week with adult kids and young grandkids. What a roomy, clean, and comfortable place! Check in was a breeze and communication was always quick and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped for family meals. Downstairs has an open floor plan which makes it easy to visit with extended family. Upstairs, the bedrooms are private and extremely comfortable. We didn’t have to turn on the AC because we loved how open windows and ceiling fans kept a lovely ocean breeze going upstairs and down. Outside, we enjoyed the deck dining area, the gas grill, and the gas fire pit. The location is an easy bike ride or short drive to Green Hill beach. There is a park with tennis, basketball, and a big playground only about two minutes away. Plenty to do even on rainy days with board games, books, and lots of TV viewing options. Our whole family highly recommends this place!

My wife and I loved our time at the studio apartment. Nice layout with a porch to lounge on with a glass of wine. Bathroom and shower were clean and the shower in particular was spacious. Comfortable queen bed with nice linens. Kitchen area was well appointed and could have definitely handled simple cooking with ease. Very well located near Thames Street and walkable everywhere. Parking spot is a big plus too. Value was ok as there was a pretty hefty cleaning fee but overall 5 star stay.

This apartment is the perfect getaway for either a long weekend or a week long stay. The apartment itself was nicely decorated with plenty of room. The kitchen was large and cooking would be no problem. The location really can’t be beat! You are downtown on a VERY quiet street. You can park your car (Yes! It has a driveway!) and walk to all the local attractions and restaurants. The owners were very responsive to questions! We will be back in August in the upstairs unit and can’t wait.

I booked the house for my husband’s surprise 60th. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed and the bedrooms were spacious with great beds and beautiful bathrooms. You can’t put a price on parking in Newport, so having spots for all of our guests was amazing! We also walked everywhere… to the cliff walk, to the mansions, to the restaurants, and to the bars! The location couldn’t be better.

We planned a pretty last minute trip to Newport and were having a tough time finding a location that was in the center of town and not outrageously priced. Luckily we found this location. The place was modern, clean and perfectly located to everything. The free parking was a huge plus. Only bout 10 minute drive to the beach, walkable to everything you need, waterfront, restaurants, bars, shops, everything. Would easily stay here again if available.

This is our 3rd year @ the Howland house. We love the location and the parking was available for our stay! The unit was comfortable and very clean . There were a few things I have to bring to your attention. The light/fan in both bathrooms are making loud noises which I believe are the mothers dying. The hallway from the front entrance had no lighting. We tired the switches but none were working. the desk drawer in the living room was broken when we arrived! I’m not sure if the water dispenser was overlooked because there were 3 empty water jugs ? These are important items but we still love the Inn & will return next year!

What a wonderful house. Everything is composed with care and the various bedrooms all felt like home. We had a great time in the hot tub. The kids made a fire in the pit (yes to smores). We had the BBQ on, and the spacious kitchen provided space for at least 10 people (our group). There were plenty of bathrooms and the living room was my favorite. Shael is fantastic and I definitely recommend this place for a larger group who wants to have space and a great time. Shael = 5 star host.
