Free Open-Air Tram - Fort Myers Beach
The free open-air tram is in service again for peak season in Fort Myers Beach. We're in year 3 of service and there are new changes to the schedule (2020) as compared to the previous years. The service runs from January 5, 2020 through May 1, 2020 and operates between 8am and 11:30pm daily. If traffic allowed, it would pass a stop every 15 minutes.

Shrimp Festival Parade
Every March, Fort Myers Beach celebrates the Shrimp Festival. The official start is the Shrimp Fest Parade. The parade travels from the Fort Myers Beach Library down to the Times Square area. When you're staying at our Beach Delight vacation rental, just grab a couple of beach chairs and pick your spot on Estero Blvd. You'll find a prime viewing location less than a one minute walk away. If the idea of rocking the seas in a fishing charter doesn't sit well with your stomach, then just get to the Fort Myers Beach Pier. You'll enjoy a steady footing when fishing off the Pier. It's only about 3/4 mile away from our Beach Delight vacation rental. Walk the beach, ride the free beach tram or cruise on your bike and you'll be there in no time.
