Let's be honest, isn't eating good food at the top of the list when vacationing? Lucky for us, Hilton Head is crawling with great places to eat. Below are some of our favorites that we've categorized as walkable, bikeable, or short drive.

Walkable:

  • Watusi Café – Our favorite breakfast/lunch spot
  • Carolina Coffee & Crumbs – Another breakfast/coffee favorite
  • Aloha Kitchen – Poke & Acai Bowl
  • FISH – Great outdoor dining atmosphere
  • Amigos Café & Cantina – Mexican and the BEST $5 happy hour margarita!
  • The Ice Cream Cone – Ice Cream
  • Sage – Upscale dining experience
  • Sandbar – Beach bar with fun atmosphere and outside dining

Bike or Short Drive:

  • Coast – Oceanfront dining in Sea Pines- setting doesn’t get any nicer than this. Entry fee at gate or you can ride your bike by the ocean (about 2.5 miles) for free all the way there.
  • One Hot Mamas – BBQ and AMAZING brisket
  • Charbar – Best burger on the island
  • Holy Tequila – Mexican with a twist

Short Drive:

  • Fishcamp on Broad Creek - Historic waterfront setting with patio that overlooks an incredible sunset over the marsh
  • Lulu Kitchen - One of our new faves, named a top restaurant in HHI by Southern Living
  • CQ’s – Upscale dining in Sea Pines near Harbor Town
  • Skull Creek – Another favorite outdoor dining spot, amazing marsh views and atmosphere
  • Hudson’s – Famous for their seafood and marsh view setting (beside Skull Creek)
  • The French Bakery: Amazing breakfast, coffee, and pastries
  • Wiseguys - Exceptional steakhouse with the best bourbon selection on the island
  • Sante Fe – Upscale Southwest
  • Pomodori – our favorite Italian
  • Java Burrito - great coffee, breakfast and lunch bowls
