If you want the perfect family getaway and just a tiny bit of freedom from your kids, go to Wendy’s house. Seriously. First of all, the moment you arrive, the kids vanish into the game room and won’t call for you for about 2 hours. In that time, you’ll rediscover what fresh air and adult conversations feel like, all while lounging in the beautiful backyard. Just when the kids start getting bored, take a 3 minute walk to South Beach. Your kids will spend another 3 hours trying to catch tiny fish that are absolutely impossible to catch but it doesn’t matter because they’ll be way too busy splashing around in the water to care. You can even hop into a kayak and enjoy the water with them everybody wins. Then you can move to a nearby fishing spot, where you might spot a mama duck losing her mind because her ducklings won’t keep up. Wendy’s house is in a private community, so it felt super safe. Just like the other reviews say spotless, perfectly stocked, and truly has everything. 10/10!!!!!

I have stayed in my fair share of rentals, including other Pocono rentals. With that said, I have never stayed at a property that has offered so much. Every single thing I needed was there. Its rare to find a place where you don't have to bring certain items (cooking necessities, food storage, shower products, etc.). Blue Pine takes great care in the level of detail from the way their towels are folded to the amazing assortment of games to the very thoughtful toiletries baskets in the bathrooms. Upon entry there was a s'mores kit and bottle of wine waiting for us. Although we were not traveling with children, we noticed all of the items there that would have been so useful for a family. The thoughtful touches extended to the little ones, with kid-friendly dishes, cups, and utensils provided. The cabin had a Pack and Play available, which was a fantastic convenience for parents traveling with infants or toddlers. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and the living area was so cozy with the fireplace. One of the outdoor spaces is screened in and it was a beautiful place for us to meditate in the morning. I love how large the kitchen dining table is we used it for meals and to play games. Downstairs was so fun with the pool and ping pong table, a really amazing touch. But my all time favorite parts were 1. the fact that this property is dog friendly and 2. the walk out of the front door straight to the lake. It was breathtaking and so peaceful.

We reserved Pocono Pines for a long weekend retreat and it did not disappoint— in fact it exceeded our expectations! We did not come to the Poconos for outdoor adventure, rather to reconnect with each other after a few challenging years. We sifted through many homes in the area on VRBO until we found this one that had all the amenities we desired: a hot tub; enough beds/bedrooms; room for lounging; a deck; a fire pit; a fireplace; and an aesthetic that would lift our spirits in the middle of winter. The house has so much light and love in it that we immediately relaxed and felt at home upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed to create the meals we planned to make, and the living and dining room had plenty of seating. The fireplace added ambiance and warmth while we drank our morning coffee, chatted, and read. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of space for unpacking. Everything was clean and I can’t say enough about how the decor and color palette made us so happy! The owners were very welcoming giving us all the information about the area we could ever want and made sure we knew they were available to help us if we had any questions. There was snowfall while we were there (adding to the magic of the large picture windows in the living room), and the owners were kind enough to promptly send a crew out to plow and shovel. To that point, we also appreciated that unlike some places that have “surprised” us in other rentals with loud mowing in the early morning, we were given a ‘head’s up’ of when the crew would arrive. All in all it was a beautiful, clean space with everything you could want! We can’t thank Whitney and Anthony enough and we hope to return again next year!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house! We traveled with other adults and were later joined by our older kids. We loved being right on the lake and my husband was able to walk out and fish any time he wanted to. This allowed the ladies to float on the lake and relax or kayak over to the beach area and lay out in the sun or swim. We made frequent use of the game room and the hot tub. Each night we would sit outside after dinner and just relax and enjoy the view with some wine. The location of the house was within easy driving distance to many activities including wineries, distilleries, antique malls and restaurants. We spent Wednesday afternoon in Jim Thorpe. Unfortunately, we did not know that many of the shops are only open Thursday- Sunday even in the busy summer month of July. We still enjoyed the walk around the area and the local dining. Our Host, Ricky, was very friendly and thorough. There were a lot of items that were provided for us, which was very helpful. The rooms and beds were all very comfortable. He also listed a lot of recommendations of places to go and things to know about in the area. We would love to stay again!

This home caught our eye right away, with modern updates and a great location. All communication was fantastic, prompt and helpful throughout our stay. Whitney and Anthony were amazing. This was our first time to the Poconos during the summer and they had so many great recommendation to keep our 4 kids and us entertained. The photos are a true reflection of the home and property. It was very nice that the crested falcon had all preferred activities and vendor recommendation that made it very easy for us to get our agenda filled. Would definitely look to stay here again! Maybe for our winter trip :)

The place was beautiful! Well maintained and exceptionally clean, which was very important to us given the current CoVid-19 pandemic situation. Vanessa the property manager was great too. The sound of the creek and scenery were so nice and we enjoyed the surroundings. Great place to enjoy nature and unwind within the safety of a gated community. My sister and I traveled with my elderly mom and senior dog for a little family getaway. The only comment I would make just so that those considering booking this property are aware, is that the property is on an incline and has somewhat steep steps to access the lower deck and game room, and then more stairs down to the back yard and creek. So it was a bit difficult for my mom to go up and down from the main level; also, there is no bathroom at the lower level, so having to do the steps again to get back up was difficult for her. But there is screened porch on the main level which my mom was able to thoroughly enjoy and hear the creek which she loved! That was my only comment - I wished my mom could go down to close to the creek and enjoy it more often with less effort and difficulty, but if you are traveling with folks who have no mobility issues, this place is perfect! Also, keep an eye out for black bears. I had an encounter with a mama bear and her three cubs the morning of our departure. Fortunately I spotted them at a distance and my dog and I were able to get safely back to the house without incident. In a nutshell, I highly recommend this place!! We loved it. Due to CoVid-19 we didn't use any amenities in the gated community, but walked around the community lake and park areas which was very nice. There's generally lots to do!

The house was fabulous & everything they described it to be. As you arrive, there is a huge driveway with garage & a welcoming wood & stone wall that leads you to a cute little front porch great for watching the many deer wonder around. As you enter the house, the living room is bright & airy, perfect for reading a book with your morning coffee & staying cozy warm by the fire. The kitchen is well equipped with every kitchen gadget you could possibly need, & the 8-person square table is perfect for family style dining! The primary bed with private bath is wonderful & the bed is a dream to sleep in!!!!! The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms are nice & bright with comfortable beds as well. All three bedrooms have loads of closet space, great lines, & various extras. As you make your way down to the basement, there is a fantastic family room with comfy furniture, an oversized bean bag chair, & big screen tv. The view from the picture window is truly picturesque! The game room is filled with arcade games, air hockey table, darts, & a pub table effect for playing the countless board & card games. We didn’t use the office/4th bedroom but it is set up for remote working with a monitor & printer. There is a half bath, supply closet, & entrance to the garage down there as well. All bathrooms is completely stocked, plush towels, first aid supplies, hair dryer, etc. The supply closet has just about any paper or cleaning product you could need. Saving the best part of the house for last! The back deck….the hot tube is OUTSTANDING!!!! It is the perfect way to relax & unwind after a busy day of outdoor sporting, sightseeing, shopping, or adventuring! Chip & Allison are the friendly, personable, & the perfect hosts for their Perfect Get Away house. I will definitely be booking this house again & recommending it to all of my family & friends! Tack Chip & Allison!!!!

Great place and amazingly responsive hosts! They send all the information you need and respond very quickly if you every have any questions. It's a shoe-free house, and so the floors and carpet were extremely clean and well-kept! I had no problems letting my 7 month old baby crawl around on the floor. One of the thing I always worry about with Airbnbs are the beds, since I've stayed with some with really bad mattresses and I have a bad back. Not the case at all here! My group had a pregnant woman and two people with bad backs and everyone was complimenting the beds for being really comfortable! We really appreciated the waffle maker and batter and the k-cups, and that we didn't have to worry about bringing sheets, towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, or have to worry about taking out the trash or pulling off the sheets at the end of our stay. We also took advantage of the community pool which was easy to get access to, and also had a nice playground which both of the kids on the trip enjoyed. Camelback is indeed walking distance and actually about the same distance as we found out from the cheapest of the on-premise paid parkings, though there are also more expensive premium parking options that are closer. There isn't really a sidewalk to walk on to get to the resort so it wasn't the safest walk, but we still did it with a stroller and it was fine. The only thing that didn't quite work out as nicely was the Pack'n'Play which is quite worn and three of the sides don't latch properly anymore. I was able to quickly find one on BabyQuip, so that worked out, and really, the Pack'n'Play was a nice-to-have in the first place. I would definitely still rent this place again, and just bring my own next time.
